I too have been dupt by this scam, I sent them a letter cancelling well within my 14 days. You know the rest. how did your problem get resolved my bank keep paying them for som unknown reason and they are now using different names. HELP!!!!0

I got caught out too. But not only did they take $89 on top of the original P&P, they never sent the product and continued to take $8.51 on my credit card for the next three months. I have been trying since last November (08) to get my money back. I've had to make three phone calls and each time they promise to return my money... I am still waiting!0

I didn't cancel my card but got through and cancelled the order (NOvember), got charged $89 in December then three lots of $8.51 (Dec, Jan and Feb 09). I rang a third time and spoke to someone that couldn't speak english very well and I was kept on the phone for a long time while she found my details - have been assured I will be charged nothing else (and sadly got really angry on the phone - that's how much this has bothered me). I will be keeping an eye out for a refund and any more charges).
You would wonder (having read all these threads) that the company are still going - because they must have had an awful lot of angry phone calls over the past couple of years from what I can see.0 -

By stolen its kinda the same as saying you lost it. So did you report it lost?
As soon as you cancel a card, it becomes invalid. Weather or not it is reported lost or stolen, And a new one is sent with new numbers.
Not Necessarily, Cards get stolen everyday and it would not look fishy at all!
After you cancel a card, genuinely stolen or not. If it got into the wrong hands they would try to charge it, It would always be declined.0 -

Contact your bank, as you have credit card it is protected. Simply call and tell them you did not get the goods. They will refund you there and then.
If its a visa electron you may still be in luck

i finally managed to get through this evening i phoned at 10 o clock our time and literally got straight through the operator was stalling me all the time saying oh i cant find your order give me your name address email address etc etc etc, she sounded real dumb, i tried to give her the order number but she could so say not find anything, well i finally got my cancellation code and will be phoning my credit card supplier tomorrow as they wont cancel my card however once i have the code they will now treat any future payments taken as fraud , i did notice an amount of £6.01 taken last week so hopefully it will stop this aswell.
What a nightmare this whole paliva has been it will certainly stop me from signing up for any free trials again in future.2010 - Goals

After reading other people's messages I feel I have been quite lucky, like others I got duped when the product arrived and I'd not read the small terms and cons, anyway I cancelled my debit card straightaway saying it had been stolen, then after reading people say that they cud still take money even after cancelling card I rang the american number at 5pm GMT and got straight through and received a cancellation number - I have only been charged the £4ish amount at the start and that was back in October so hopefully nothing else will ever go out. Some people have been very unlucky but I would recommend cancelling your card as I was told by the bank that once it's been cancelled then it's no use to anyone.0

my bank was insistent that they would not cancel card and that even if the card is cancelled and a new one issued money could still be debited off the new card - unless i phoned and obtained the cancellation number my bank basically said they could not help - if i had paid by debit card i would have closed my account and therefore no money could have been taken as it was a credit cared i am unable to do this as i am not in a position to clear off the whole balance i just hope this sorry mess has now come to an end i have certainly learnt now by this dreaded mistake.2010 - Goals

I can see why lots of you are worried about the money side of things but what about what these tablets/powder/berries stuff is doing to your body? If the companies selling are acting a bit dodgy what about the products themselves - I'd be just as worried about what I was putting into my body.0

Hi - I too was foolish enough last November to order a free trial of acai berry - I paid the $3.95 p&p and received the pills. I called the company (whose name does not appear on any literature, just a tel no.) as soon as I received them and got the cancellation reference number. Since then, $8.51 has gone out of my bank account every month to first of all pricelimbo and then pricesavers. I contacted my bank (Barclays) to say that it was a scam and to stop any payments to them. They wont do this as by me giving my card details in the first place, I automatically gave that company the right to pass my details onto other companies to take money from me ie pricesavers. I have not received anything other than the initial free trial. Each month my bank send me a letter saying they are looking into the situation and then just refund the $8.51 as it is less than £10. Apparently there is absolutely nothing the bank can do about it apart from request cancellation from pricesavers but there are no guarantees - every time I call Pricesavers I give them my details and they say I don't exist on their system even though they take money from my account each month. If I mention it is a scam, they just put the phone down! Can anyone help me stop these payments? I threatened to close all my accounts with Barclays and they just said they would come after me for the money as the money will still leave Barclays and go to to Pricesavers???? HELP!!!!0
