WHATTA MESS..

Have just managed to speak to Acai500 scam folk - who have issued another cancellation code seperately for Price Limbo - 5 digits - everyone beware, it is only a small amount of money per month - but there are better causes to be spending a £5 on aint there?:eek:

I am LIVID!I have too been conned by this company!TWICE! I signed up but there was no terms and conditions when i bought ordered this free trial. As far as iam aware i only had to pay p+p which was about £2.99 or something like that. I was mortified when i checked my bank statement and they took £64 out my account.I contacted the bank who advised that they would issue a letter to the banks of the retailer to cancel the transaction. But here i am AGAIN as they have took the money a second time. The bank advised if they took it again they would reimburse me. However because the company have took the second payment out under a differnet name the bank have now got to dispute the reimbursement. Which is highly annoying. I have had to change my bank details but they apparently can still take the monies again as i have the same account number and sort code. The only way to cancelthat is to go into the branch. This btw is a branch where hardly any staff speak good English!And that is not racist its just a fact! Iam leaving the country in january for 10 months i cannot fford for this to be happening to me!I cannot belive the brass neck and these scams go on! Whats the worst thing is they probably are not real acai berries!There probably filled with fruit juice!If u can't tell IAM ANNOYED!Can anyone help?

..please also see my last couple of rants.. you need to watch for "pricelimbo" transaction also - it will be "non fraudulent" (because you gave the info in the 1st place - but I reckon that they are pretty Fraud-like to me) transactions that your bank will do for you if deducted off your Bank a/c - rather than a credit/visa card. Im afraid there is no 1 thing that you can do - other than what you have already done.. but just watch your bank account - as my last quote stated - I am one step away from having to COMPLETELY shut one account - in order to stop them getting anymore of my cash - I wont be doing that lightly I can tell you - but hoping that my last call to the Co. will be sufficient now I have the 2nd Cancellation code in place (for Price limbo - Co didnt give me a reason why it wasnt done when I got the original cancellation for the monthly Acai transaction). Honestly - just read back through this thread - that is as much as you can do - try to take solace in the fact that you arent the only one this has happened to - there is loads of us!!

Well, I managed to get this one stopped by phoning the number and eventually speaking to someone. Unfortunately I also signed up to Bromalite, and when I phoned up repeatedly, I couldn't get through. But on the line it said that you could get in touch with them by email, great thought I. I sent a few emails requesting them to cancel my 'order' as I just didn't want anything to do with them. Then one day before Christmas I checked my credit card online with my bank and almost had a heart attack when I saw that Bromalite had proceeded to take £49 out, and I also noticed a £13.91 taken for a www.fit-fac.com and a £5.90 (or thereabouts) taken from a Pricelimbos. Funnily enough, I have never heard of either company and was quite annoyed that t and they had helped themselves. So, I phoned my credit card helpline and told them that these payments weren't authorised and I had tried cancelling the Bromalite one but they were ignoring my emails. So they siad they would investigate. In the meantime, I tried the Fit-Fac website and Pricelimbo website to see if I could cancel that way. Fit-fac I managed to actually speak online to someone who passed on my details to the right department and I got a refund within days. I did ask why they had taken the money when I didn't authorise it, never even heard of them, and was told that it was to do with one of the free trial orders and it was a bonus thing. Anyway, sorted that one. But Pricelimbos website, there was no where I could see to get it cancelled, so my credit card company will have to sort that one. Then, while I was checking the Bromalite website for another way of cancelling it as they were obviously ignoring me, I found a section to cancel orders and request full refund. Did that, and just noticed that I have had a refund on that one.

I have learnt my lesson now and won't ever try out any of these 'free' trials again.

i am still having trouble getting through to the number and cancelling my subscription my bank first direct said they will do nothing until i get the cancellation number i am at my wits end i really dont know what to do what ever time i call no one picks up - my banks wont even cancel my card - please help I am really stressing out now and do not know which way to turn.

I had the same problem! Really must start reading the small print!

I called them about 2am and got through then but it did take 25 minutes! However even after they gave me the cancellation number they still took the money! I had to call back again (another 25 minutes holding) and this time got a refund reference number and 6 weeks later there is still no refund! My Credit card company are fighting it for me now but have said it can take up to 4 weeks! It is an absolute joke that they can do this!

Check for amounts coming out to pricelimbo.com too as they are one in the same and take a random £5-£6 at a time!

My Credit Card company said that basically since I made an agreement with a company called one name and they have taken the money from my account each time under a different name they have broken their "contract" with me so they should be able to claim the money back no problem!

trouble is i am dreading thinking about what the phone bill is likely to cost for the duration of calling usa any one got an idea

I got the money refunded back to my card today.

I know what you mean about the call cost tho, I haven't checked the cost but it was 2 x 25+ minute calls to get through. However I needed to have the cancellation number for them to fight the case for me.
