After a call to the credit card company they supplied the number which is a direct number to their offices in London. They will then ask you the email you used which they will use to cancel your contract. They will then email you and supply the cancellation code (numeric).

My credit card firm are going to send me the form to stop any further monies leaving my account; this i need to do supplying them with the cancellation code....

This site (moneysavingexpert.com) is primarily a British site, although we welcome everyone, if you're quoting prices in dollars I take it that you're actually/originally from the US?

hey i wish id seen this before i fell for the scam. i sent off for the free trial yesterday and got email with reference number on it back. after seeing this forum i panicked. i rang the number on the email and input my reference number in to cancel the order - i seriously hope this works and that i wont get the free trial or be charged. eek!

after reading all the posts - i did not get a cancellation number when i called as it was all automatic - i will ring again on monday

Goto the webiste you used and find the 'live chat' option, they will give you a cancellation, keep pestering because they will try to use the time you took to cancel against you.

there isnt a live chat option on the website - blah - still seriously kicking myself - but glad im not the only one - maybe this will finally teach me i should go out and walk rather than take supplements!!

on a side note - i got an email from them today stating my order was cancelled and that i will not be billed - should i still ring them on monday to double check or keep an eye on my bank statement. there is no cancellation number on the email - if i ring them do you think that they would give me one.

I personally started taking this supplement a few months back and was a little unconvinced on at first, however after starting with the bottle using the shots daily, and now using the pouchs for convenience, i can honestly say that i feel more refreshed, have more energy and feel generally more healthy then before. I cant really comment on the weight loss side of it as it wasnt the reason I started taking it, however as a supplement to help your sense of well being, I cant fault it.

As a company we do not participate in affiliate schemes and we only stock and ship products from our own warehouse and we certainly do not have any sort of ongoing billing systems in place. We operate on a standard retail basis, you purchase the product, we ship it next day to you using Royal Mail. And just for info, we sell a large range of sports supplements and dont rely Acai Berrys to bring in an income to our business, its just one of our lines.

The product has recieved a lot of bad press because of the scams which are mentioned throughout this forum and hundreds of others, however people should remember, if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. For someone who is generally wanting to purchase this product and check out the benefits to it, I would say stick to the retailers who actually stock it in the UK, do not bother with the "free trials" etc, nothing in this life is free as they say!

well i phoned them and they 'stated' that i had definately been cancelled and i got the cancellation numbers for it. i just hope that they this is the end of it! i will be keeping an eye on my statement. as from all your messages it doesnt sound good - did anyone have a good experience of cancelling this in the free trial period and that being it?!

as for acai berry itself in response to NutritionExpress i dont think people are dissing the actual product just the companies - that said - it was my own stupid fault in not reading the terms and conditions so im only blaming myself - not them - i think from reading the responses on here - the scam part is more the way in which its handled once people figure out what they have signed up for.
