Miss_Vic81 your story is exactly the same as mine, my 14day trial is up on saturday. Have you had anymore money taken out of your account?0
-
hi guys - as far as i know its now been a month since my free trials have been dispatched - which is even longer from when the actual order was placed. so i would assume that any money should have been taken by now and no money has - i will post again with an update later on in the month - prob towards the end of feb - to let you guys know - also no weird payments have come out from any other company that they may or may not have sold my details too - as i think someone else on this forum had that issue.
good luck @lothlorien and @bhoygirl - so far ive been lucky - story to be contd!!0 -
after reading everyones worries about not being able to cancel i searched the site where i recieved the free trial from and found another telephone number to ring..
all u have to do is give them the order number you recieved in the email when you ordered it and they cancel it straight away as well as sending a confirmation email saying its cancelled....
the number is ....0870 820 0066
hope this helps everyone

Interesting letter here (from: http://www.canyoutrustthem.com/index.php?go=details&id=4184 )
Dear Ms XXXXXX
We just received your letter and, although we have nothing to do with the sale or supply of SUP*CLEANSECOLON or any other goods we do know what you are talking about and I will try to help you. Most importantly, I notice that you are up to the date for cancelling your order, so I am reacting to the urgency emailing this reply.
I am sorry to hear that you have been caught by this scam. We are victims of the same scam but on the other side of the problem. We formed the company, Trading Planet Ltd, and I am the sole director; but it was not formed for the purpose that the name is now being used. Trading Planet Ltd was only registered in August 2009 and, when I realised that the name was being used in this way, I reported the matter to the police. We are also in touch with Trading Standards, the Companies Investigation Branch (a government agency) and are doing what we can to help in the hope that they can stop this deceitful trade.
We have not taken your money; we are not involved in the business in any way at all. The scammers have used our address without our authority and put us in a very difficult position that is costing us a great deal of time and money and has damaged our reputation.
Before continuing my explanation I must give you some relevant contact points:
We have reported this to Avon & Somerset Police, and their contact number is 0845 456 7000. The Crime Number for this case is AS2009 0908/0271. I suggest that you actually report it to your local police and tell them this Crime Number, because the more police forces that get involved the more likely they are to give the matter priority.
The goods are sent out from a packaging company in Scotland and, whilst they are not the scammers, they are paid to package and deliver the goods and to receive any returns. The address to use is PO Box 13579, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH.
The people who are behind this scam run a website at <http://www.tradingplanetltd.com/> http://www.tradingplanetltd.com/ which claims to offer “customer service” and even lists a contact telephone number. A month ago, people were telling us they did not get much help there, but more recent reports suggest that it is worth phoning (in UK office hours) and they have obtained refunds. But we can also recommend the following information source...
We have discovered a website that lists the steps a previous victim used effectively to get her money back. Since the site started it has accumulated a lot of additional information. It is <http://www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk> http://www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk
This is an international fraud and the police tell me it is likely to take a long time to achieve a prosecution – if at all. They know the name of the people who seem to be behind it (you will find their details on the www.tlcinvestigations website) but they need to get them extradited before they can be prosecuted.
Some credit card companies have declined to help card holders on the basis that they accepted the Terms and Conditions on the scammers’ website. If those “Terms and Conditions” claimed to be in the name of Trading Planet Ltd they could not be valid, because they were never approved by the director of Trading Planet Ltd (me). However, the scam may have moved on now and be using different names.
We have heard that, when people cancel debiting instructions for a particular company name used by the scammers they simply bill it in another name. Some banks are being helpful, but others seem to be shrugging their shoulders at the problem. The most effective way to stop the transactions is to cancel your Credit Card and get a new one with an entirely new number.
We have heard that the scammers are now using other company names. They may have moved on from abusing us, but the problem continues.
PLEASE REPORT THIS TO THE POLICE AND TO ANY OTHER RELEVANT AUTHORITIES. We don’t think the authorities are taking this seriously enough and we hope that more complaints will cause them to take more action.
I wish you well.
Regards
Derrick Phillips

 I have been scammed by the promise of a 'FREE TRIAL' of ACAI BERRY AND COLON CLEANSE. Stupidly I did not read the 'TERMS AND CONDITIONS'!!!! These ppl get you on the fact that A: You will be so excited at a free trial, B: You are plain stupid and C: you won't bother reading them!!
I paid my few pounds for P & P like every1 else, received a bottle of 60 ACAI BERRY capsules and 60 COLON CLEANSE capsules - which by my sums adds up to 1 MONTHS supply and not 15 DAYS!!! I then forgot about the 14 day cancellation cos I had not read T&CS, I checked my bank account over a fortnight later to discover 2 PAYMENTS OF £75 had been taken by the this company!!
I called them several times! Only to be hung up on twice when I started to probe too much!! I was told the 2 payments were for the FREE TRIAL bottles each cos I had not phoned within the time stated. I was also told I had no chance of getting money back! I asked to speak to some1 in charge and was hung up on! I also tried through their 30 DAY MONEY BACK REFUND POLICY to get my money back, but as soon as you gave them the order no they know its the trial bottles and fleece you with saying they are NON-RETURNABLE what a bloody joke!! There is NOTHING in the refund policy about the trial bottles being non-refundable, it states ALL PRODUCTS are covered by this!! I was told by all means return them but I will not receive a refund, they advise the capsules be destroyed!!
I am sickened this is happening to so many ppl!!
I since have informed my bank, consumer direct and trading standards I have completed a visa chargeback form via the bank as I paid with my debit card and not a credit card so I compromised all my bank details, have had to open a new account!! Causing myself more hastle with direct debits changing and money going in and out!!
Any1 from the FALKIRK area in Scotland who also has fell foul to this scam can call Trading Standards on 01324504873 and at least report it!! Phoning AMERICA is a waste of time effort and money, I got through but cld barely hear the operator who cld only say 'mam, mam are you there?' 'hello mam' rubbish. :mad:0 -
i have just fell foul to this scam, checked my account and found 2 payents for £75 had gone out, i contacted my CC company and started a dispute about these charges don't know if it will acheive anything.
looking on a different forum i found a free phone number which is
08082389830 on which i got through straight away and cancelled the account they had set up for me(very nice of them). i have received the 2 cancellation numbers so hope that the end of it.
does anyone know if the payment protection we pay on CC charges will mean i won't have to pay this £150 or do i just face upto being conned out of it?:mad:0 -
my brother fell for this scam a few months ago and lost over £180 pounds to these criminals. i only found out about it today and a quick search brought me to this thread. im thinking of what to do now..T h e F u t u r e I s N o w !0
