My mouth too - it comes out with the COMPLETELY wrong words really randomly! I make a joke of it all the time, but it is really annoying...

I am so sorry - I almost slipped a disc laughing as this reminded me of that joke where a woman means to say to her husband "pass the salt please, dear" and instead says "You ruined my life you B*stard, I hate you!".

But I know exactly what you mean. My Dad pointed out the other day that when we were arranging a place to meet, I suggested "apple"
He's 83 and my short-term memory is worse than his! We both joke that we save ££ on books as we can read them again not remembering that we read them before :rotfl: .

I may make a lot of jokes (hysteria?!), but I'm so grateful for this thread as I don't feel so alone.

Hope you get your car sorted and so glad your OH wasn't hurst.
    Small blessings, eh.

Ah, yes, another point of similarity. Even if I read the same book twice in a row, I can't actually remember the details. And if there's a space between 2 reading of the same book, I can barely remember the plot.

Navigationally challenged? Nothing like being able to get lost on your way home from work - after you've been working in the same place for 6 months.

I'm so glad it usn't just me :) I had to reread all the previous Harry Potters AGAIN when the last one (and the one before, and the one before) came out! I'm rubbish at remembering films too - I know I've seen it, once I've seen it again, but not before or after! I'm particularly rubbish with artists names and song names and film titles and... well.... anything that involves memory actually!

I'm grateful to this thread too... it's a tied first with facebook at the moment, and that's saying something! ;)

I hope we get the car sorted soon too! I'm hoping they'll just call it a write off so I can get another (perhaps more ME/fibro suitable?) and not faff with rubbish patch up jobs. Only major stress is that the car I currently drive is going back in about 3 weeks as it's the end of it's motability lease for OH's mum and he's not yet bought a car to replace it... so we need to buy at least one car in the next 3 weeks or we'll really be stuck!

My favourite/most appropriate song is often "Sick and tired" by Anastasia... "sick and tired of always feeling sick and tired"

well i wasnt going to mention it .... :A especially seeing as i havent yet figured out how to do it lol

i like the sick of feeling sick quote :rotfl:

i know the flipping out feeling when i have too much to deal with, thats what i was saying the other day about not being depressed but then a little thing will make me flip :o i almost went this morning with the stress of knowing i had a roast dinner to prepare and cook and the uniforms to iron.... seems such a small thing for anyone to do when they dont understand? i managed but then fell asleep for ages after we had eaten  so that will throw out my sleeping tonight

also i remember saying a while back about forgetting what i was saying halfway through a sentence and also i forget the words for simple things when im really tired - something like a window, i will know what it is and just not remember the word!! i was really worried i had alzheimer's [sp] im sure people think im drunk sometimes :o and if i dont read each sentence i type and correct it no one would have a clue what i was saying ;)

I really can't get over how many of us here share the same problems, daily struggles of just trying to cope! It's quite amazing to hear back from people who underline the symptoms an difficulties - I keep on reading here and can't get over how many times I can identify with the same problems - am I making sense?? Sorry very tired today (normal really), well that's my excuse anyway!;)

Reading ... can't remember after the first page what I'm reading about, nothing seems to sink in! Receiving forms or letters of importance that needs sorting frightens me and even when I've dealt with them I worry if I have done things properly and can't remember what I've said. Trying to sort things out over the phone is scary because I get totally BLANK and can't get my sentences together.

I too wonder when I am feeling unwell and although I don't believe it's the M.E. I don't like to go to the surgery. Just like 3 months ago I was feeling really ill and just dismissed it as anything other that my existing illness - that was until I started really itching and then had spots - I did go to the surgery, and it was chicken pox! It took 8 weeks to get over

There are so many things mentioned in this thread which amazes me; of my feelings, symptoms, difficulties I also face on a daily basis.

At least I am feeling now that I'm not alone and no, I'm not going mad!
