Being a fellow fibro sufferer i know how difficult it is and like you ive had to fight to get the benefit we are entitled to.
Like you ive been turned down twice for dissability and just got it finally this morning, so what did i do different, i was told to get the citizens advice cente to fill it out for me, because of so many people claiming who are not entitled we have to fight heaven and earth to get it while we are the people who most of the time cannot.
It's not fare and its not right but thats the way it is, it got me down like you but all i can say is never give up, i have many of the symptoms of fibro while some people are luckier but we are alive and i will not let my condition take any more of my life away,
If you need anything please feel free to contact me all of your fellow sufferers know what your going through and we are all here for support.0 -
LittleTinker - what is your background? You seem to have popped up a bit but not actually told us anything about you... and, as I've seen your post on another thread saying our thread should be shut down, I'm wondering what your motives are for posting on here?0

That's taken a bit out of context LT. We're a friendly, supportive bunch on here and, of course, are curious about someone who, on one hand also seems supportive, and on the other hand, appears challenging.
But we'll carry on doing what we're here for - letting people who are suffering know they're not alone and, I hope you find it helpful if you need it. Not much point in anyone posting on a Fibro thread otherwise, eh!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Am I the only one randomly amused by LT's giving medical advice (re. exercise) while simultaneously whining that our thread should be shut down for doing just that? :PHomosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -
A case of "dont do as l do- do as l say"!!:j this money saving is such fun:T0

You know....you cant win with you lot can you? You get snippy comments one way or the other.
I posted a perfectly nice response to crystal and since then seem to be the butt of an interrogation.
I have not whined about ANY medical advice....on the contrary....I am complaining about the stupid rules that DONT allow certain medical advice.
If I have said that this thread should be shut down for giving medical advice, can you show me it please because I dont remember?0 -

LT, please see my previous post about you being supportive. We are friendly and mutually supportive here. If I've got you wrong, then please do accept my apologies. We just have so many other things to deal with that we see no point in adding to our and other distress by doing anything other than "playing nice". But if you go looking for an argument, you're always sure to find one.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
