BZ, I hope the heating is on??!! And I would kill with my bare hands for a pot of KFC gravy. One of my fave things. Yes thank you, I'm well aware of how sad I am. *grin*
S/E, you are never bossy IMO. Sometimes we need others to say things to us which we know very well ourselves. We don't listen to the internal voice, but coming from someone else (*grin*) we do hear it iyswim.
Or to put it another way, we need to be told the bleedin' obvious sometimes!
I've got antsy pants tonight and don't know what to do with myself.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I'm bored, or something...I need someone to talk to or something to do...just something!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Have you got the supplies or the energy to do anything crafty?
Do you feel like giving yourself a manicure? Nice pretty pale polish?
You know you want to *grin*

If you're bored folks, I've got a neckband that needs knitting. Now that would cure your boredom.s/e0

Nah, I do need to make OH's bracelet for his (free) Christmas present. But I cba. The girl who once called me lazy, workshy and a faker is online talking to me. She had a miscarriage recently and is now empathising with how crap having no energy is..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

thanks for the offer though S/e
Tbh, I think you would regret that offer if you'd seen the results of my knitting attempts!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Still haven't opened pack to learn knitting. I remember attempts by Mum to teach me when I was a kid. I thought that tension was pulling the wool as tight as you possibly could which meant that I could never get the needle in to do another row. No wonder I haven't tried since then.
Everyone around me seems to be craft queens and I'm useless. It's frustrating when you have ideas for things but haven't the skills to do them. The only practical things I've ever done are furniture restoration things which I used to get such pleasure from, but a bit beyond me now. I'm left with being very good at startig things, but useless at finishing them.
s/e I was going to say I have Teflon in my ankle, but then I remembered it's Kevlar. From an achilles tendon repair op. I now have a bullet and stab proof ankle.
I was a bit naughty today and doubled up on steroid dose. I think I will again tomorrow as it'll be a busy day. Plus side is I don't have to take as many pain killers and can be a good little duracell bunny until the juice runs out.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

BZ, OK. I hear you. But i just think it would be good for me to come back to a flat that looks nicer.
I got all maudlin tonight. Got all teary missing my late Mum. Also realised that to drill down what our medical problems have done to us is to deny us the chance to ever be carefree even for a moment. I'm sure I don't need to explain!
I'll wake up with a better head on tomorrow I'm sure - I'm just a bit sad tonight.
Wishing you all sweet dreams.
