I quite like sprouts, with chestnuts and bacon. I cannot abide Xmas pudding, but like fruit cake so long as it's not too heavy. But then I also like liver and cabbage (not necessarily together) but am not fond of chips or chocolate, so I'm not normal by any means.
Cleaner is coming to spend tomorrow afternoon with me. She's a bit like a helper - she'll help me clear, move round furniture etc, anything that needs doing which will be wonderful. I've had a lightshade for the living room for well over a year that I haven't fitted as me and step ladders don't mix and she's more than happy to do things like that, so will be great.
s/e - hope you're on the mend today. Raeh, we worry about people when they're not here for a while you know. You never call, you never write! tee hee.
BTW, BZ, I do believe that stupid woman, Nadine Baggot, should be shot. Smug wench.
Right, I'm off to read Thursday's newspaper! Hope the sun is shining in your lives today.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Gonna have some lunch first though. Then I'll put the iron on to heat up. Then I'll knit a few more rows of the neckband of my cardigan...
Good luck with tomorrow - I'm sure the place will look wonderful once she's been and you'll be wondering why you put it off so long.
Right! Time for lunch.
I will catch up with you all properly later.s/e0 -

Oh, shurrup and go back to bed!
Wot she said. On both counts.
Maybe take your own medicine too s/e and pace yourself with the ironing? It doesn't all have to be done at once.

And this time I've gone through the the pile and taken out anything that I can get away with not ironing.s/e0 -
i find it really satisfying turning a crumpled mess into a neat and nicely smelling item. am also BZZ Consumer testing a Philips Steam Generator iron whic ends yp steaming up the windows in the living room it's so powerful.
Stick a play for today or audio book on and I'm gone.
However, although I have ironing to do, I have to clear up so the cleaner can get in the door tomorrow

S/e Iron is really good in performance, but some niggles with design. They do cost upwards of £90 though! I only had to pay P&P of £20 for mine luckily.
Just wondering about logistics of posting you my old one - Bosch, perhaps a year old?
And I have lunch when I'm hungry! *grin* Sometime around 8ish. My eating pattern is as screwed up as my sleeping.
p'd off as after 4 visits my dishwasher still isn't working. No leak anymore, but that seems to be because I now have no water to it or the washing machine. And I'm heartily sick and tired of the whole saga.
Right, off to do Xmas cards.
