Yee hee! Another mooncup user! How many times has yours frisbee'd out of your hands (yes, hands *grin*) across the bathroom floor to end up behind the laundry basket? :p
Dare I ask what a mooncup is?

Yes thanks, I did get the freezer moved, it's now at the bottom of the bed until I can clear an ickle space for it under the window.
Question. Why is it going in the bedroom?

  • I have 4 rooms - kitchen (too small for even the washing machine), living room (doesn't make a good ornament), bathroom (not enough floor space and too much condensation, and bedroom (ta dah!). I managed without one for years until I was given this one, but it's so much cheaper batch cooking and buying whoopsied items to freeze.

Can you just tell MIL2B that you're relly tired out (true) so would prefer to shop for her and then head home to bed? She's still getting a favour done for her!

Slow down chuck! Listen to Auntie Axe.

    Don't do it!

You'll only have to clear the mess up later.

  • Ah, but sometimes you just can't help yourself.

At the risk of causing offense, you can read about the mooncup here - www.mooncup.co.uk.

And, yes i thought that when I first saw it. *grin*

p.s. Tried on a skirt today and got into a size 18. The waist was even a little on the big side. So if I get the stomach muscles that have just gone "blah" back in action, I could drop another dress size at least. I'll run a book on the odds of that happening!

I'll stick to my way. One jab every 11 or 12 weeks and there's no need for any of that. Bliss!

  • how annoying of them, mine has set times for phonign them and two drop in and wait sessions a week, but you can ohone during the times oon the other 3 days and make an appointment so you dont have to wait with everyone else.

we used a freezer, or was it a fridge, as a convenent table in the living room of our tiny student house. course only one person could fit to eat at it so we dumped stuff on top instead, was very very useful though.

moon cups, i would never dare. shortly after i switched to cloth pads though i converted my friend into a mooncup user. her intial reaction was eww, then she bought one, now she loves it.

primark, other shops, town...nope cant be done, well i managed it once this year a few months ago, planned to be early enough for no christmas crowds, but late enough to ahve winter stock in, except it didnt work out, only bhs had jumpers that were not long sleeve t-shirts or polo necks.

Purplecatlover - thanks for the link, I've never heard of disability premium before and I've been on DLA for years now. How do I find out if I can claim it ?

Unity - Hope its not too late to wish you a lovely weekend, you deserve it after all the worry you've had lately with waiting for your results. At least you can put it behind you and enjoy the weekend now.

I suppose it should kick out a bit of extra heat for you...?

I'll try. I did manage to just take a list rather than her... sneakily enough I knew that she wouldn't wanna go out after dark, so my stalling may've had an alterior motive

Purple cat - I've tried phoning but they never answer. It's so frustrating.

  • sue, im not sure, maybe ring the dwp or the job center or whoever it is deals with benefits these days. it was all sorted out for me and has just continued on since, i get the letters every year stating breakdows of what i get, which is how i know (when i open them, im not above ignoring and binning after a few months without opening anything).

bz is there a dial in your area? ive heard they are excellent and being disability specific should know. although i know my friend has had trouble getting them to answer the phone, getting the answer phone instead. they did call her back though.
