    I know what you mean.
I wouldn't mind so much but I have a flippin filling cabinet! I don't think I've actually filed anything in it for about a year or so now! eeek that's a lot to catch up on!</quote>
thats the whys of binning it, too much catching up so much easier to throw it away when it can no longer be hidden under/behind things.

I've had a search on t'internet, but it looks like it's all based in southerly locations.
i thought they were a nationwide organisation, wonder where i got that idea from then.

maybe just ring the benefit people and ask about it?

I can see why that would be! I'm, unfortunately, a financial info hoarder. It's more than likely something I've inherited. Why I need 7 years worth of statements I'm not sure!

Lol - I didn't actually, but that probably explains why I thought it was southerly. Can I blame the fog or is that getting old now? ;)

The nearest one is about 15 miles away but I can try em on the phone. Ta very much :)

Yee hee! Another mooncup user! How many times has yours frisbee'd out of your hands (yes, hands *grin*) across the bathroom floor to end up behind the laundry basket? :p
I now know why this was an in-joke. And why it's even more grim. ;)

you can blame the fog, or anything else :rotfl:i think google likes to be awkward and make things difficult at times for some reason.

    hi

was diagnosed withe ibs and fybro last year. are your ibubrofen tabs enteric coated otherewise they can set off, even cause ibs. they are more expensive so often the gps dont prescribe them if they are not asked to.

i also have osteoarthritis but my thyroid function seems to be ok.

have just applied for dla as my mobility due to the osteo is limited and i have had a number of falls. just had arthroscopy which set off the fybro with a vengeance and the tendons under one foot and heel went into spasm and couldnt walk properly for about six months. paid for private physio and ultrasound as nobody seemed to be listening. this greatly improved condition. still cant stand for long so problems cooking.

have applied for dla using the benefit site but will prob get turned down but will appeal.

it is one day at a time. will be finishing, or finished, from work in january i think so the dla would be very useful if i get it.

Thanks for the other link puplecat.
Don't want to sound thick but what is the dail link for?

I too have hypothyroidism, (there's very little I don't have!!)

I get the lower rate for mobility even tho' I use crutches to walk, I can't imagine what you have to be like to get the higher one!!!

For the people wanting to lose weight, on the Freebies Board I noticed there was a free CD or something for Hypnotherapy to lose weight.

I have just had a look at the freebies board and it seems that the weight loss thing is a download and several people are having a go. (I need a weight put on thing!!!)

  • they are a disability rights /welfare/advice place, ive seen people suggesting them as can help with benefits advice/dla claims etc for years so looked them up one day and have vaguely remembered them ever since. when bz said she couldnt get any joy form her local cab i suggested dial instead. if i had had to appeal my dla renewal i would probably have gone to them (or not bothered appealing).

ALSO I didn't know you were entitled to other things if you have DLA:o
