    Hi PP
do you mind me asking what her prescription is :)
My DD is also very shortsighted and when we need new lenses we have to wait 2 weeks for them, maybe I need to change opticians?

Hiya Glad (hope you are feeling better :)

I wondered that too - my prescription is very bad and this last time my glasses took 4 weeks to come back:eek: ridiculous so 3 hours would be an absolute dream for me:cool:

Well then, even more washing then and now hung up in airing cupboard. Mount Everest pile ironing now empty - did in 3 lots between phone calls from friends etc!. Really good feeling.

    Hi Everyone

In the same boat as M-M so pinching her opening para:

Have just finished reading thread now...know that its a bit late but Happy Birthday to PenPen and Ms Cas:bdaycake::bdaycake:hope that you have both had a lovely day.

Will keep it short while the line is still holding out. Cousin arrived safely, but a little tired from the journey, so we have had a quiet day, took her for a run in the car to show her the area, called at a beach side coffee shop and sat out and had a coffee. Made sandwiches for her and DH for lunch (I had fruit:A :rotfl: ) and then cooked Lidl chicken breasts, with mash, carrots and cauli. Fresh pineapple for afters. She has gone to bed for an early night so I have just got on here.

Take care all - Nice to see you back GB - sorry things are a bit rough atm. :grouphug: all round.
