    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Morning!

((((Hugs))) Candygirl and to anyone else who could use one

Breakfast was a big bowl of warming porridge with a little sprinkle of demerara sugar on top, that should keep me fueled up for the rest of the morning:D

Lunch - left over Prawn stirfry from yesterday using up a lot of the bottom of the fridge veg

Dinner - I am going to have a go at a hm pizza in the remoska, got some mozerella cheese so fairly low salt I hope, served with lots of veg (have to get 7 - 9 portions a day in)

Starting to get used to not adding salt to my food now, lets hope it makes a difference to the bp! I am also starting on a little bit more exercise, we bought an exercise bike (half price at argos) for our birthdays and I have mine set at lowest setting, just doing a mile at the moment :o as so unfit! still got to start somewhere. My aim is to be able to one day get out on the pushbike again! Walking Penny twice a day (just small distances for now) should help as well!

Just changed the bedding and one lot is already on the airers (think it is going to rain here)

Off for another hot drink :coffee:

Glad you had a lovely time with your family Pink!

Happy Birthday Pen Pen :bdaycake: and to the new teenager Miss Cas!

    Catz x

  • Morning Guys!

Candygirl-Im sorry to hear about your father. We are all here for you even if you need to scream and shout. He is at rest now but its always difficult for those left behind. Hugs and kisses.

    PP-Happy 21st Birthday:j :j :j

We had a lovely weekend away at friends and got spoilt rotten. They ordered an Indian on Saturday which was totally organic and cost a small fortune, but it was tasty, TBH though, the taste difference wasnt much between that and the normal curry we get.

My health hasnt been too good again and I am extremely knackered today with little energy. Have the nurse coming at half nine for bloods and injection, so that will ease the pain a little. Have 2 hospital visits this week including an iron infusion which is always painful and long winded.

WM is on and DW has been emptied. My helper is here ATM and is going through the job list. She has taken down the shower curtains and put in the WM for me. We have a roast later with a reduced chicken that OH bought for £1.50.

DD is at opticians with OH as her glasses broke yesterday and as you know she is blind literally without them. She is in her uniform but will depend on how long it will take as last time it took 3 hrs to get the scratches buffed out the special lenses as they has been scratched badly when they dropped. OH also had his flu jab this morning.

We are away Thursday for a few days so have some stuff to get together by then and lists to make. Just found out that there is no oven there so will take the Remoska-do you think it will travel well? Have made a meal plan so it should be ok.

Anyway, I hope you are all well.

    Hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

    Morning peeps,
Spent the weekend clearing late FIL's belongings. They have been in storage for ages and are finally being sorted amongst his progeny.Lots of old bits and pieces and one or two gems.
I have been sorting out the old toy/book cupboard at home too for the last couple of weeks. It was full of the kids books and stuff from the last 20 years(they have their favourites stashed in their bedrooms) .
I have managed to give away about 10 carrier bags full of books so far.
I trudged to Lidl on Friday to see if tinned tomatoes were cheaper there and they were, so my book-backpack was refilled with 10 tins and was still lighter on the way home.
Sunday we found 41 p UHT in sainsburys which is the cheapest in town now so the backpack was loaded with 5 of those and two yorkshire tea boxes(100% extra free). Thursday was 6 tubs of marg from sains at half price. I am become the lugger of grub lately but no matter,it keeps me fit.
Today I'll lug another 4 book bags to town . BIL gave me a little suitcase trolley wheeled thingummy which will make it much easier on the shoulders.
I have a package to pick up from the sorting office too on the way home.
Home made pizza for tea today already made and sitting in the Fridge(other half of yesterdays).
    Bye for now
    Culpepper.

    Dark and overcast here.

Washing machine has just finished our bedding but not sure if I should hang it out yet.

Feel really exhausted, I should have had a day in bed and got myself better but DD needed a new coat and boots on Saturday and yesterday was another DDs birthday so wanted to have things nice.

Will make roast potatoes with sausages and leftover pork for tonight unless inspiration strikes for something more imaginative.

Made hobnobs last week and must have mis weighed the ingredients as it made masses!!!! Divided the mixture into three and baked one lot then put the rest into a couple of freezer bags and stuck it in the freezer which means that if I want to make more I just need to thaw, shape and bake.

Glad you are away from the awful atmosphere of your job. Wonder if anyone else will be willing to work for your "wonderful" boss?

Think other DD might be able to travel home on Wednesday for a belated birthday so want to get myself feeling better so we can enjoy her being home.

Once DH surfaces I am going to go and grab an hours sleep and if anyone does not like it they they can go and "Paxo" themselves!!!!

grannybroon - hope things get better soon for you.

Hester - good luck with the H&S today, hopefully you'll get a chance to show them some of the issues.

Morning all, drizzley and grey here! Good job I got the necessary washing done yesterday, shame I can't say the same for the ironing! Sigh!

Charliesmum - congratulations! That'll up your wine bill, for when you get home from babysitting! Good job N9eav spotted the wine deal lol! Thanks N9eav, will have a looksee later.

Happy birthday Pen pen and miss cas - hope you both have super days!

Catznine and JackieO - take it easy!

Got dd1 and ds off school due to an INSET day, ds has already tootled off with his mate, they're off to Bristol. dd1 and me are going into town to get some pressies for dd2's friends, had a slight disagreement about how much it was suitable to spend, any amount in her opinion if it was my money, nothing if it was her's! Will be going into Boots and bargain hunting, after I've had a look at the boots grabbit thread, hopefully they won't all get vit c or flight socks lol!

Brekkie was fried egg and tomato sarnies, very tasty! Lunch will be a snack for me and dd1, dd2 and dd3 have cheese and salad sarnies, raisins, apple and white choc chip hobnobs! Oh and some hm yog with plum jam stirred in, very tasty! Must sort out soft cheese from rest of yog later if I remember! Dinner tonight was due to be sausage plait, but remembered I bought some ys turkey steaks, so need to use them up as they won't fit in the freezer, will do something creative with mozzarella and toms with them I think, and saute pots.

Kitchen has been swished and swiped, bm and dw on, and think that's about it. Need to iron my uniform as w**k tonight, bet it isn't any more fun than before my hols tho! First night back is always horrible, I shall prob feel like the living dead tomorrow, so must remember to delegate sarnie making for tonight to some lucky child!

Nice to see so many new/returning posters here! Hello! Have a good day all, penpin, hope you're having a good day today, off to have a nosey on the boots stuff now, hugs to anyone who needs it. Candy extra big hugs to you xx

    edit:

Meant to say glad the wedding went well on sat, any pics we can nosey at? x
