I don't want anyone to leave......I love everyone....can you tell wine o'clock is going down well:rotfl:

OH loved my sweet and sour chicken, that was good as it had PEPPERS in he tells me he hates them :D.

Dust is now re-distributed around the place, but am distracting OH and SD by showing them the muffins and apple braid and various other stuff they can eat.

Have not got any ready meals in for SD this weekend so she will have to eat what we are having or starve. Oh dear, shame, lol. For those who don't remember, OH's daughter equates cooking from scratch as .....'you make it cos you are poor, we buy it from Morrissons'. Have been pandering to her whims for a while, but am not doing it any more, either she eats what I cook or her mum sends ready meals down. (she has got a pie with her for her supper - she's diabetic so needs hearty supper, but I have pies in freezer....aparently not as good as Morrisons

again I say have a good weekend xxxxx
whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

    Stopped smoking 20:30 28/09/11 :D
  • Just noticed that Squeaky's name is no longer on the Board Guide list for OS. Hope you are well Sir Richard and health not too poor. Hugs!!

Went out for a carvary for dinner @ £3.25 each which is a bargain and was quite tasty. You had the choice of 3 meats and all were tender and fresh. We had ice-cream at home.

2 washloads done (bedding) and all dried on the line. House has been thoroughly cleaned through and DW on and emptied. Bins emptied.

I certainly don't feel this thread is like someone else's house Smoky, it feels like the old house I used to visit. I think there's enough room in the house for support as well for sharing knowledge:)

That's the beauty of being a human being - we all have our own perceptions and differing opinions. :D

I am glad you think there is enough room here to be truly Old Style which as my wonderful nana often said she missed - the community spirit, support and caring values alongside the sharing of knowledge all of which in her opinion is sadly in short supply these days.

The ir***ng is done except for a pair of curtains which can wait for a day or so ;) just need to write a list for Asda now as my Bro has rung and said he will run us there and back tomorrow. :T :T :T

    Good night all,

    Smoky. xxxxx
