I have just noticed that you can add email addresses in Paypal. So if i do need to open a new EBay account could I use existing Paypal account and just add the new email address I would be using under the EBay account.

Would EBay know that the Paypal account I would be using for new Ebay account was not in my name or is it wise to open a new Paypal account in my name?

Either way could I use the same bank details as currently registered?

    You need to change everything.

A whole new paypal account is needed.

Paypal is owned by ebay and share information.

Every part of your old ebay account is now flagged, if you use any part again to try to open a new one, they'll catch you and your new address will be us.

Having a new name and address you can legitimatly use is very useful so it's not worth losing that chance over something simple.

you would need a new paypal account and i would open a new bank account

however if you are planning on selling the same things on new account then surely the same will happen again eventually
  • sorry to be a pain, but just to clarify, all these items on this list

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/vero/participants-apparel.html

i can not sell new or secondhand .. in my case it would be secondhand ?

edit.... if you open new account etc like some people have mentioned, i am sure i have read that ebay etc can trace duplicate/diff accounts to the same computer ip.. so it might not be worth you going through all this. only to be caught out in the future, and then have a life time ban.

but i might be wrong on the ip thing.. maybe someone more up to date can advise you there

Dave, advice like yours is a good way to get a thread locked, and heskpesk won't be thanking you then.

    Heskpesk,

You are heading for another fall, you were warned in your e-mail from Ebay not to open another account. You really need to get this sorted out and not try to by pass the rules. You have been warned on hre and by Ebay but don't seem to be taking any notice. Please make sure you do things the right way.
Thanks for any help and advice given
