Heskesk - there's some cracking info on ebay suspensions etc at www.aspkin.com/forum. You'll get tips there on how to get yourself up and running again.
I know how horrible and frustrating it is when you get booted off ebay especially if it's a main source of income. Unfortunately it is so easy to get suspended and I think due to the new site changes there's going to be a lot more small-time (relatively speaking) sellers like yourself given the heave-ho.
Good luck - I wish you all the best!

I think part of the problem is that you appear to have been selling a lot of designer labels, yet weren't registered as a business. Yes, they were secondhand, but there are a lot of businesses out there dealing in secondhand goods. Seems that Ebay has formed the opinion that you are actually a business seller (due to volume of sales and type of goods being sold) and that there's no proof that your items are genuine. You need to pray that HMRC don't come knocking on your door too.
To put it bluntly:
High volume of sales of designer labels over short period of time + not a registered business seller + VeRO program items for sale + not an authorised reseller of said VeRO items = Ebay suspension.
As someone else has said earlier, you're going to have to prove that you are not a business seller and that your items aren't fakes.
One more thing - the Levis won't be due to you putting the style number up. All Levi jeans have a style number. Ebay will be aware of this. Remember, LeviStrauss took Tesco to court when Tesco tried to sell imported Levis even though they weren't an authorised reseller. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Intrigued to know where you read about this policy Soo, never heard of it.
It i susually in the beauty categories that people have problems. There is a limit on how many items a person can offer for sale in a given time, as I say this is unspecified and goodness knows how ebay work it out. However, get a smaller private seller to try and list a lot of stuff, even say Boots Number 7 and they will get a note to say that they cannot list more for a certain amount of days, usually 30.
There isn't a pecific policy, the only time i ever saw it outlined was under a different 'new' rule where a brief and rather banal explanation was given about how it was safer for buyers if limits were set in various high risk categories from certain categories of sellers.
Anyway, this is nothing to do with VERO, and for VERO breaches there is a lot of info on the web if you Google, like this saga:
http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/ebay-removed-my-listing-due-to-trademark-misuse-61898-2.html
However, it is very unusual for all listings to be pulled and a user suspended for a single breach of policy on a first warning. That is what makes Heskpesks situation difficult to fathom. Vero would apply to one name only, so the Levi jeans for instance, yet in this instance all the items have been removed en masse.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Actually i found this which explains the limits rather better than I have managed so far:
http://forums.ebay.ph/thread.jspa?threadID=500004251&tstart=0&mod=1223017612658
However once again this doesn't quite fit the bill as Hespesk is adamant that he has never had a warning and a look at the account suggests no other reason for ebay to consider it to be in poor standing.
This is interesting:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/limits-on-sellers.html
Although this bit can be read more than one way:
If limits have been placed on your account, you can find out why by checking your seller dashboard or contacting customer support.
So that could be read as meaning that the warning is not sent by email but by making a note on the sellerdashboard, and of course none of us can possibly know what that looked like before suspension. I also doubt that many people look at their full dashboards more than a couple of times a week, at most.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Or maybe it is this bit: (the bit in bold)
We can suspend a seller’s account if the seller violates our policies or doesn’t pay our fees, or we feel the account causes problems or possible legal liabilities.
Ie selling too many items where the trademarks are on the VERO programme. The bigger the seller the more you can get away with, and as I remarked earlier I think a small seller with a very high turnover of high end trademarked goods was always going to have problems whilst registered as a private seller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
