I think that what this charge on the house is, is that as he is married to you he can under some matrimonial law put a notice on at the land registry to say as your husband he has a right to live there and this could hold up a sale until it is sorted out. It doesn't mean that he will end up with a share in the house it is just an irritating delaying tacticLoretta0

Sounds like you are well on your way to sorting things out. You've got some good advice and can now work out your plan of attack. I won't make any comments on what you should do now, as you seem to be getting good professional advice. You now have to make the choice as to what is best for your daughter and yourself.

Hi All,

Thanks once again for all your kind words of support, help, advice and friendship. It really is fantastic that you have taken the time to offer your words of wisdom, and I can see from my initial response on the post that im like "samson", "my hair is growing back and I can feel my self getting stronger by the day". :j
Just a few answers to questions.
Dora,
You asked about my repossesion order on the house, I applied to the court for another hearing as I didnt attend the first and it is now on January 12th, I am paying £150 per month off the arrears so for now it is under control.
I had some feedback from the estate agent about a viewing I had, the couple who viewed it are renting on the estate where I live and want to buy on there, they really liked the house but have just extended there lease by another 6 months, they are going to find out what they have to pay to get out of it early and may put an offer in. So fingers crossed........ legs everything crossed that they do. :snow_laug
Im counting the days to the 21st and then it will be a lot better in the house once he has gone, I managed to get £300 off him on Saturday WOW yipee, so I bought the rest of my christmas presents and I will get my food shopping, (next week when he has gone, so he cant eat any of it ha ha). :snow_laug
I finish work this Friday  so I am looking forward to nice break from work, spend some time with my family and I will use the time wisely to work out my strategy and plan of attack regarding the divorce, car, etc.
Im sure I will post before Friday but if not.
Can I just wish each and everyone of you, a very happy christmas and I hope the new year brings you happiness and takes you one step nearer to reaching your goals.
Thanks everyone
Christine
