Ah KT1985, you'll be another one for Lilo's list!

But I still personally don't mind seeing your PG news and updates on this thread either, so thank you for the update, x

KT1985, thank you for posting. I know a lot of people have said the same thing - it apparently moves so fast. The only thing I can suggest that if you set it up, see if they let you continue it - the board guides do tend to amalgamate them. It would be a little difficult to include the sort of pregnancy support side of it on this thread iyswim, as it may become 'difficult' for people who need the infertility support to read too much about the ins and outs of pregnancy. That said, people that we have got to know on this thread and have graduated are welcome posters re how they are getting on and life in general because we have supported them throughout their journey and have become friends and therefore we dont feel that they are (for want of a better phrase) rubbing our nose on it.

Its really difficult to put it into words what I mean, and hope that this covers it! Feel free to add comments - I dont mind!!!

yep, totally get that :) Was wondering where the bfp ladies from this thread are now hanging out??

Our story isn't really remarkable- just took a little longer than expected. It was hell for that year though as it included 2 mc (both earlier than I am now) and we never thought we would get here and were starting to think of alternative ways of having a family.

Aha - Lilo I see what you are getting at! I saw on the PG thread they have a page of EDD's, and TTC's etc to start with, so I guess you mean something like that, maybe with with length of time TTC, EDD and 'assisted or not'? - just another idea (hope you are not gonna wish you hadn't started this now!)...OOOH - and hopefully Somnium will be on your grad list too!

KT1985 - I agree with you that maybe we have a 'Pregnancy after Fertility Issues' (or some such title) thread - and I'll be happy to start one if you like, but not until after I get my scan done tomorrow! - just in case..... If I start it and no-one wants to join & keep it going, or the board-guides disapprove, then so be it and we'll have to joint the other thread and just try to keep up I guess!

Right, that really is it for me now - I'm going home to have a bit of a lie-down before I plan my strenuous evening of TV watching - LOL!

Edit - sorry KT1985 - my post crossed with yours!

How about PMing one of the board guides (MrsTine or Glad) and sounding them out? That way you don't run the risk of the threads being amalgamated and the reason for the board being opened can be explicitly explained by the board guide to help others who might think of posting on there.

    Just an idea!

Lilo, I like that idea for the new thread. Basically the same as we have here, but with the clarification that BFPs do exist for us, and a quick story to inspire us long term ttc-ers.
Could be TTC - 12months+/not straightforward and successes? It's only a touch shorter, but a touch more managable...

I buried my Bampa today. I sung at his funeral service, so I'm a bit overcome with emotions at the moment. I'm so fed up of emotions. We've been ttc for 2 years, and I've been over-emotional the whole time. I have loads of happy times, and even without children I do really enjoy my life, but still the emotions are always bubbling away underneath. I'm just fed up of them, and would relish a bit of peace.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Hi guys, What I was going to do, was start a new thread with roughly this title and the introduction, but amend it to include a roll of honour with our graduates and a potted history of their stories, right at the beginning so that newbies know what the thread was about. Our graduates would then be welcome to come back and keep us up to date with their news, but still keeping the thread as a support group for those trying to get pregnant iyswim. It may be difficult for some to cope with too much info re pregnancies etc but we would all like to know how they are getting on, how far along they are getting and general news about their lives. We have all become friends on here and it is lovely to still keep up to date. If anyone has any other views to incorporate, and can suggest the name, please do. I will be trying to do it from appx 8pm this evening so can incorporate anything after then.

Title - Trying for a baby, 12months+ and not straightforward, including our graduates - or something (not very snappy is it!!!!)

So far I have Nicky and FE to go on it - I thought that as we get each success, I can edit the post to keep it up to date, and also when our miracle babies are born. Awaiting Nottslass to go on it as well.

I would love if we could have a seperate gradute thread as well as being able to post here. I would feel a tad uncomfy posting certain pregnancy stuff on here as it seems insensative, but don't mind up dating here and catching up. I thinking sounding out the board admins is a great idea, as the support this thread has given me/us has been invaluable and I dont feel that on the PG thread. Some folks are on there 2nd, 3rd or more babies its more a general pregnancy chat thread, where as many of us are brand new to the journey and finding our way.

I'd love to be included in the gradute listings but can I give my update after my scan on friday, am kinda on hold till then.

somnium - Not long to go till friday !TBH I found waiting for the 1st scan worse than the TWW.
I've got my 12w scan tomorrow and I'm nervous already -at least my appointments 1st thing in the morning & the agony will be over soon !!
