Ah Lilo, not sure I can help either other than to suggest "Giggle" has started a new thread from an old on on the nappy cake thread under special occasions so you could pm her for advice?0

Lilo,
I would say just start a new thread, and send a pm to MrsTine and Glad asking them to close this one. And please, include the link to this thread in your first post as well...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Lilo
If you open the current thread in the new window/tab and copy the address, then you can paste it in new post by pressing the button in your post window - the one of the globe with chain link (look in the row of symbols/pictures above your text. You can even type a text, select it (mark), and then press on that button to paste the address.
Just pasting the address looks like this:

Or it can be done like this:
Trying for a baby (12+ M/not straightforward) - old thread
Hope this helps!!!!
Edit: Just tried, you can just copy the link/ text with link and paste in your post and it should work! If you want. I can open the new thread and you can post the second post straight after with the graduates!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Ooh, I see MrsTine is active this morning as the TTC and PG threads have just been closed and new threads started - so if you read this MrsTine, maybe you'll get the gist of what Lilo is talking about!0

I was following all that OK - until the techie-stuff!!!
I have had a little cry at your messages - I am so humbled that you find mine and the other 'graduates' stories to be inspiring, but also so happy that you feel it helps you to know about our journeys, and maybe gives you hope as you travel yours.
Are you going to keep this thread and have a 'graduate' one too? I'd hate new ladies (or gents!) who have been TTC for a while to be put off joining, so just putting in my two-penn'orth, perhaps we can have both? Then Nicki, Nottslass, Somnium and I (and hopefully all the rest of you ladies when you get your BFP's) can witter on about our new lots of worries and concerns, and the 12m+ TTCers can join in if they want? Just an idea, and I am happy to go with whatever the majority decides.
Becs & MadMac - sorry if us 'IVF ladies' seem to have dominated this thread recently, but it really is for anyone who has been trying for a while without getting that elusive BFP - whether you are still trying 'naturally' or discovered you need medical intervention to give Mother Nature a helping hand, so please don't be put off posting here - you do 'belong'!
Big (((HUGS))) everyone,
FE
So - if I understand right, Lilo (or whoever gets the new thread going) wants a potted history?
OK -you pretty much all know this, but here's a summary!
Me 39, DH 48. Started TTC 2004 (at age 34) after DH had a V-Reversal. After 18 months, trying everything non-medical we could think of to help it along, fought GP's for referral to fertility specialist due to my advancing years! Eventually referred but refused help on NHS due to DH having children from a previous marriage. Started private treatment. Discovered I have mild PCOS. Tried Metformin & then Clomid. Discovered DH's SA, previously good after the reversal, now showed antisperm antibodies. Told ICSI would be 'the only way'.
2007 #1 ICSI - BFP! - Discovered ectopic at 6+4. Methotrexate injection (eventually after many scans & blood-tests) to terminate.
2008 FET - BFN.
2008 #2 ICSI - BFP! - Miscarried at 6 wks.
2009 #3 ICSI - BFP! - Still keeping everything crossed......
EDD 7th March 2010.The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"
..."Mind yer a*se on the step!"
TTC with FI - RIP my 2 MC Angels - 3rd full ICSI starts May/June 2009 - BFP!!! Please let it be 'third time lucky'..... EDD 7th March 2010.0 -
FE - thank you so much! :A
I second your thoughts on keeping the thread alive with good news and newbies combined, it never fails to lift my day when I hear from one of you lucky PG ladies!
We could always just ask for a change of thread title instead?
Just a little thought!0 -
Hi guys, What I was going to do, was start a new thread with roughly this title and the introduction, but amend it to include a roll of honour with our graduates and a potted history of their stories, right at the beginning so that newbies know what the thread was about. Our graduates would then be welcome to come back and keep us up to date with their news, but still keeping the thread as a support group for those trying to get pregnant iyswim. It may be difficult for some to cope with too much info re pregnancies etc but we would all like to know how they are getting on, how far along they are getting and general news about their lives. We have all become friends on here and it is lovely to still keep up to date. If anyone has any other views to incorporate, and can suggest the name, please do. I will be trying to do it from appx 8pm this evening so can incorporate anything after then.
Title - Trying for a baby, 12months+ and not straightforward, including our graduates - or something (not very snappy is it!!!!)
So far I have Nicky and FE to go on it - I thought that as we get each success, I can edit the post to keep it up to date, and also when our miracle babies are born. Awaiting Nottslass to go on it as well.

I haven't posted here before, but I have lurked for a while and I kept me going during the loooong wait for our BFP a month ago(13 months).
Are there any plans to start a 'not straightforward/easy start to pregnancy' thread, cos I can't keep up with the 'other one' :S
Also, like checking back to see how everyone is doing- you are all inspirational.:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j0
