Hi durham girl, I'm on cycle 2 of clomid, and found my first one pretty tough PMT wise, but the comfort is, this second cycle is so far almost symptonless. Fingers crossed.
I am also pleased to see our TTC sucesses popping in. You've all been through it, so I'm sure you're not going to go making ridiculously insensitive comments. I love being reminded that it can work for us 12month+ers too.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -

I personally do not find it upsetting to hear from you, as you have been through it as well and you are our success stories which is inspiring. We didnt come up with a name for those born from this board, Ill have a trawl back at the suggestions. MAybe we could have some kind of a roll of honour or graduation - names, time trying and date due or something - that way new posters understand that you are a graduate of this thread rather than come to haunt us iykwim and can understand that you understand.
Lilo
Hi lilo, that sounds like a great idea.
Like the other "graduates" I feel at home here & don't really want to move on to the "other thread"(no offence intended) TBH, this thread has helped me stay sane - infertility and its treatments can be very lonely at times.
Like the others,I don't want to upset anybody but hope that our stories can give others a bit of hope ,especially when they think that the odds are against them & that they'll never get pregnant.
My story started 5 years ago, when we stopped trying not to get pregnant (IYKWIM)
3 years later,we realised that things weren't going to be quite that simple, initial tests showed that our problems were due to male factor and my age ( I was 39 at this point)we were advised to go straight for IVF, we were only given about a 10 % success rate,so the odds really were against us.
Well fast forward 2 years, after alot of money, heart break, tears and stress we finally got our BFP after our 2nd IVF.
I'm now 12 weeks pregnant, mind you I still have to pinch myself to believe it !!!
Good luck everyone & please don't give up-sometimes miracles do happen.

Aww am so glad it doesnt upset you guys that we keep popping by. Here is much more homely. like the others said, no offence but here is much nicer than the Pregnancy thread. I have started posting there but I'm overwhelemed with the spead at which it moves. There really nice but its fast and furious some days and I prefer the more sedentry pace of this thread.
Scan on Friday at long bloody last! Am starting to get more nervous as it gets nearer, maybe I should have tested more than once! eek! Very itchy atm and soooo tired, but seem to have gotten off with the morning sickness so far.
Welcome Durhamgirl - hope clomid is ther answer for you xxBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Ah I too think it is lovely to hear from you pg graduates! I post mainly on the TTC thread partly because I feel underqualified to be on here! We've been trying for 27 months now but haven't progressed and won't progress to ivf which alot of you are going through and have been through. I think I would find it hard to hear from the pg ladies on the other thread because most of them have had it really easy and it would feel like rubbing salt in the wound.
It's different hearing from you ladies as we know you've been through a long and or difficult journey to get to where you are now and I find it more inspirational and lifts me by reinstating my hope when the going gets tough.0 -

helloooo
Just thought this might interest you guys, and maybe get a little encouragement that it isn't taking this long to TTC, and hopefully you will never be here........would you?

Right then - I shall do a roll of honour as it seems we are agreed. Can anyone who wants to be included pm me with when baby due, time trying etc. Would it be worth starting a new thread with this in the first post? If so, how do we go about doing this and closing this - I am a real amateur at all this! Or if anyone else wants to sort out a new thread, I can post it all on post 2 iyswim.

I'm with becs in bouncing between both threads as although I'm an old timer, we haven't yet gotten around to using help or intervention of any kind.
So I also love reading updates from you PG ladies, jealousy aside it still gives me hope that our ages and his sperm aren't a dead end to our wish for a family. We have been together for more years that we've been apart and still no joy in that department.
But after saving forever I reckon we now have enough put aside for one round of IVF - but have now had to postpone everything while OH is on meds for his depression.
Sorry - just realised I've probably typed all this loads of times before! But you are all making me feel emotional and the tears are starting! Silly moo that I am.:o
Anyway, hugs to everybody and virtual touch of those bumps please, you lucky ladies...0 -
Lilo, a new thread, really? How exciting, another one for me to subscribe to and read in the hope of joining one day!0
