Somnium, I hope all goes well for you today! Best of luck!
On my side, well, I had another chat with Bupa on Friday, and lucky me, the call got answered by a very helpful lady, who went out of her way to sort this out for me. She understood how anxious I was as she had this 3 times herself, and she couldn't understand the notes in my file, so she promised to get to the bottom of this. Few hours later, I got a call back from her, saying that she talked with quality manager (or similar) and they agreed to cover the laparoscopy!!!!! I got her ex
tension number, so I when I get the date from doctor's, I am going to call her back to get the pre authorisation code. Now, I just need to find out how much more than Bupa's cover does my consultant charge, as I will need to cover the difference myself. Unfortunately, the helpful secretary that I was keeping in contact with, must have gone on holiday as I just got an out of office reply till June 22nd!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Oh Ginvzt I am so pleased! Doesn't it make all the difference when you have staff like that! I do try and write to the company when I have had someone like that as I think it helps enormously to show others that aren't as good that they need to step up! I'm really pleased for you, one less thing to worry about.
Good luck Somnium today! Fingers crossed.0 -
Great news ginvzt.
Well I had the D&C on Thursday. Had a bad reaction to the gen anaesthetic this time and took a long time to recover, but am ok now, just a bit blank and down. Got to get the ball rolling on St Mary's; no way can I go through this again without some proper investigations. Hope you're all doing OK.0 -
Great news Ginvzt, I am sure you must be so relieved.
Sarah999 - glad you are feeling better.
Somnium - I hope the EC goes well today. It seems like ages ago I was there too!
Well, 9 days into my 2ww. I don't feel any different though, but I haven't actually had any symptoms all the way through the treatment - no mood swings, pain or bleeding after egg removal, etc. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
