Well my friends seem to be having another rush of getting pregnant. If one more facebook pic turns to a baby scan I swear....

I'm not jealous like I used to get, but still, when too many come at once it still smarts. My first round of chlomid has been taken and I was very relieved that although it did send me quite frantic for a few days, I was back to my usual self almost immediately when I finished them. I have a tendancy to go loopy when I get extra hormones, so phew!

Does anyone know any more about this "dripping" I'm presumed to be having from my dud tube back into the womb? The more I think about it, the more I'm concerned as to what it might be doing to me...

EDIT: My most in depth searching has shown me that it seems to called pyosalpinx, but I can't get any more details than that!

Well a quick update from me:

Had follis harvested yesterday - bad news is that as only one side of my ovaries appear to be responding, they only got four eggs from them. Good news is that three have fertilised.

So, I am in tomorrow for implant. Am hoping at least 2 will be usable. It would be lovely if we could freeze one, but of course, that is out of our hands so we will know tomorrow....

I feel quite calm about things at the moment - I guess because I didn't think it would get this far to be honest.

Best wishes to all on here. Baby dust to all....!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

I have a question? Does any one know what the risks are (if any) going to dentist with IVF/Pregnancy I need to have a filling so have to have injection and don't want to tke a risk. I should have asked nurse yesterday but totally forgot.

    Hiya Somnium,
Well I know that dental x-rays (well all x-rays I guess) are totally out when you are PG, not sure about the injections for fillings though - although I have been asked the last couple of times when I needed old fillings replaced if I was PG, so guess there must be some reason. If I were you I'd give the dentists a call & set your mind at rest.

Hi Lilo! Thanks for your continued thoughts & good wishes - I am hanging in here as best I can and trying to keep up the PMA...

Well done Angela & good luck for ET tomorrow - it takes one.......

Jiblets - sorry can't help on the 'dripping' - maybe someone on the fertility threads on i-village can help? Not been there for ages as I was finding it all a bit too much and 'weaned myself off' but there are lots of very knowledgable ladies on there.
Know how you feel with others getting PG though - there seems to be a rush of them in the building I work - every time I go to the loo I seem to see another one!

Ginvzt - sorry you're still wrangling with BUPA, but at least you seem to have a good Dr helping there - try to hold on to him if poss!

Jojo77 - don't let all our talk of 'stabbing' get to you! Lots of ladies do 'sniffing' for the downreg phase and only 'stab' for the stimming phase (and the last 'trigger' jab to cause OV). I'm just one of the masochists who 'stabs' all the way through!!!!!! (because I can't stand nasal inhalers, even Vics makes me sick, and I get quite a lot of nasal congestion with hayfever etc, so thought sniffing would be more of a problem for me). You get used to it in a few days, and it's really not as bad as you anticipate...as well as using an ice-pack beforehand to numb the area, I close my eyes and visualise myself holding my baby while DH injects me, and most days I hardly feel it at all - honest!

Oh - almost forgot! Quick update from me...

Not heard anything from clinic re blood test, so take that as good news and will start the stimming jabs tonight (2 jabs a nite now - what fun!). Got some tips from girls on the Repromed site that using a hot water bottle during stimming helps the follies to grow, and eases the bloated feeling - maybe a myth but gonna give it a go...

I don't work on Thursdays now, so planned yesterday to get the shopping done and house sorted for my BM & her hubby & my Godson who are coming at the w/e - but I had a really nasty migraine and ended up spending the day in bed - it was agony and I was really sick with it (& thirsty but couldn't even keep water down), and of course still coughing with the chest infection which made my head explode every time...really was a poorly little elephant yesterday.

Still, have warned BM that house a tip, and plan to have some chillout time with her & LO at the w/e - she is PG again, so not drinking either and pretty tired too, so we will just flop out together I hope! (when not chasing LO around - at just turned 3 he is a tornado on legs!).

    Have a good w/e everyone,

    FE

Well, some result finally!!!! After another half an hour call with BUPA, I got the pre-authorisation code. They won't cover the full fees for the test, but still, better than paying for it all myself.

Amazingly, the answer at the beginning of the call was that they do not cover HyCoSy and they would expect me first to have other sorts of test before it. when I asked what sort of tests, as they can only check bloods before checking the tubes, he said that two on my note where laporoscopy and hysterectomy!!!!!!! Right, fisrt one involves general anasthetics and surgery, and the second one leaves me unable to have children at all!!!!!!!

Anyway, after discussion and the person on the other end consulting the medical teams they have, they will cover. I am already having nightmares that they will discover that both tubes are blocked, or something else is in there!!!

AF is two days late and I'm usually as regular as clockwork. It's probably typical that when me and DH stop consciously TTC that something happens, however our sex drive has been through the roof the past couple of weeks.

I want to test but I'm scared in case it's too good to be true, I'm stuck in work until 1pm and all I'm thinking about is whether to test or not but at the moment I don't even feel like I'm about to come on, usually I'm very bloated and sore, my boobs are usually extremely tender and I'm normally an emotional wreck....but have none of those things.

    Bunnie,
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but not encourage you to get your hopes up too much. Good luck.

    Hi bunnie.

Sending you good luck from me too but I'd say try and wait a few more days if you can. I know its hard but if you are just late it gives AF time to come but if you aren't late and are pg it should make for a more pos result.

I know how very easy it is to get your hopes up and have them dashed. But I also know how hard it is not to get excited and want to test immediately.

When I am ever late it seems I have to wait ages to test because I won't test until my longest cycle length has passed which is 38 days. Then when I get to day 38 I try to wait a few more days.....or a week if I can make it :D
