Yes, that's a great analogy FairyElephant. I think my wife an I have missed many flights over the last 8 years. Hopefully our voyage by boat will get us there in due course; however I must confess, sometimes it feels as though we've stepped aboard the Titantic.

Who's next for a BFP then? I think it's time we had a run of good news on this thread. We can show those on 'the other thread' how to do it!!! ;)

Hey not all of us over there are doing that well:o But yes i think this thread could do with a few more bfps and we could do with some more over on the other thread, some of us longer term members would be great :)

I am going to flit between the two threads now as i am on ttc14 and although not as long as most of you do feel somewhere between the two groups, so you are stuck with me :rotfl:

Very sticky baby dust to you all and may all you boat journeys be cruises and arrive at the most perfect destination imaginable:T

    PMA Toniq!!!!!

I was convinced last time that I would get a BFN - didn't think I would get BFP again from the 2nd treatment...now I'm convincing my self that not only am I going to get a 3rd BFP this time around, but it IS going to 'stick'!

Please everyone remind me of that above paragraph when the hormones get me down later on, and when I panic in the 2WW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously Toniq - hang on in there girl!

Keep your chin up toniq, we all have great hopes for you.

I have been to Australia by boat, have boarded a plane twice but got engine failure and had to turn back. Now the plane and boat are out of commission due to major works being required but they are both back in action from September. I hope that the plane will work, but if not that I can use the boat. I am desperate to give Australia one more visit, but may have to settle for pictures and memories from my last trip and be glad that I have visited once!

    All the best - Lilo

This is the worst bit isn't it ?

At least while you're having scans and injecting you feel as if your actually doing something useful.

IVF is a long and lonely journey.TBH I don't even think my OH really understood what its like to live a treatment cycle 24/7,for a woman there is literally no getting away from it for 6 weeks.
On Saturday I had a screaming row with my OH (well I shouted) I was trying to discuss our next move when we got a BFN and all he kept saying was "well lets not be negative,we don't know what the outcome will be yet" I know he was trying to be helpful, but it really didn't make me feel any better.

For me,staying away from the tread (and all things TTC)and waiting for what I thought was the inevitable was my way of coping.

I know this doesn't help much, but statistically the success rates of blasto transfers is brilliant.

I have everything crossed for you X
