Ginvzt, I would hold off just until you have had your appointment, just to make sure you dont need it - so long as you let them know they will be able to reallocate the slot, but if you have to rejoin the queue, you will have to wait that much longer!

The problem with this is that the ultrasound appointment is on May 15th, before the appointment with private consultant on 26th. So, I have to either cancel it and go privately later, or get it done and hope that the hospital will give me the results to take to private hospital.

Hospital should give u results, i have my bloods done via my dr's and take them to my private consultant as it costs near on £100 for each blood test i need.
Most will help, they have no reason not to, if u explain when u have the scan that u need a copy as u might be seeing a private consultant and it will save u time havng a copy they should understand xxxxx good luck xxxxxx

Isn't it quiet here today? We were nearly falling of page 2!!!!

How is everyone? I am still decided to go for ultrasound or not. I'll probably wait until the private hospital receives referral letter from my GP and then decide...

    Hi all,

We have been trying for a year - I got several tests and got a BFP:j:j:j:j. I have done quite a few tests yesterday and today (put it this way i have run out of internet cheepies:rotfl:) and they have all been BFP (including two "do on day of af" ones too:rolleyes:) i am somewhere between 8 and 14 dpo (got a bit confused) and only did the inital one coz they arrived in the post yesterday am:rotfl:

I have miscarried in the past once at 8 weeks in 2000 so i am just hoping for a sticky bean as i am aware it is very early.

I am going to stick around for a while but i just wanted to say thanks for the helpful posts and suport:T
