Ah Sarah the things we go through! I used to be really bad with blood tests, particually as they rarely find a vein first time. Having had so many in the past year they don't bother me at all. The ones I had to have last week I had a different nurse to usual do them and it took her a couple of attempts which is good! Anyway she felt really bad but I really didn't mind as have just got used to them. I'm sure you'll soon settle into your injections and you have your little bean to remind you of why you're doing it. Good luck for the nxt 9 months, I hope it sails by for you.:T

Exciting nottslass!! I'm with u on the tears, i've had a very tearful moody day, luckily oh took day off and spoiled me xxxx
my history on ttc is a mixed one, when i have fallen , which has been a few times, I've had misscarriages, and since losing twins at 5 months pregnant i've had difficulty concieving, that was a 3 years back. I'm beyond desperate like us all on here to have a lil bundle, though i often get *u already have a son* remarks from doo gooders, I know im blessed to have my 11 year old ds and he is a very much loved and wanted child, im as maternal as any woman and have so much love to give, until i had a miscarriage i didn't realise how much i wanted another child. I find Ivf's very traumatic as u literally have it all to lose/gain and it messes so much with ur head and body.
sorry to waffle had a very buserelin head flucked day xxxx

I just wanted to say how marvellous and brave you ladies are. I am having enough trouble on cycle 12 8dpo just plucking up the courage to go to the doc at the moment to start the journey which some of you ladies are on.

I have found your posts informative and supportive and cant believe how brave you guys are having to deal with medications and injections on a daily basis:T:T

Edit: sorry i didnt mean to sound like i was ignoring the emotional rollercoasterof it all - i cant imagine it past what i have experienced and dont really feel i am able to comment on it as i havent experienced it - i just wanted to say how amazed i am with you guys coping with the physical stuff.

    No just insane/desperate(delete as applicable !!! )

Seriously, you just get on with it & keep everything crossed that you'll get the ultimate reward.

TBH the emotional roller coaster that you go through is far harder than any physical pain - Personally I'm at the stage where I daren't even contemplate what the result may be,I can't bear to think that I'll get a BFN,but like wise I can't get my hopes up and think that I'll beat the odds(hope that makes sense)So,at the moment I'm just taking each day at a time.

Thankfully most will get their precious little bundle -It may take longer & cost a lot more (in tears & money) but IT WILL HAPPEN.

I was talking to a lady today, who at 43 had been given just a 5% chance of her IVF resulting in BFP,but she was still prepared to go through with the treatment, but as she said, statistics mean nothing if you're fortunate to be in that 5 %

Good luck with your journey, and you'll always be sure of a warm welcome and some sound advice on here.

Nottslass thats exaxctly how I feel you don't want to let your self get excited and at the same time you want to remain positive arrgghh!

Question for those of you who have had IVF already, on a scale of 1 to 10 how out there can I expect my emotions to get. I'm concerned that between working in Mothercare surrounded by babies, then running Army cadets where I'm surrounded by 13 to 16 year olds being pains in the bum I may loose the plot at some point!
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls

I'd say on first Ivf mine were a 100 out of 10 as i don't think my body knew what hit it with buserelin, this one i would say 7/10 though oh would say a lot higher xxxx
I applaud u for being able to work around babies, i'd struggle big time, knowing me i'd be booing like a loon xxxxx

Good luck ladies, its all over for us here again, 5 rounds with nothing to show for it.
Back to the drawing board, maybe in another 7 years trying we might get our BFP.
    But probably not.
    Best wishes to all trying
