Wow!!!!!!! congratulations sarahs999,enjoy the next 9months and thankyou for giving me some hope !!!!
ginvtz, have you thought about going to PALS ?,its amazing how they manage to get things moving. As you said,it shouldn't be any longer than 18 weeks from referral to actually receiving treatment, and that includes having any diagnostic testing in between.
There is a PALS office in each Hospital, give them a call and see if they can help.
Good luck

Congratulations Sarah!! Woo hoo
Ginvzt sorry the hospital is being rubbishBecs & I were ranting about it just last week, they really are useless aren't they.
I'm 5dpo today and yesterday had to go and have my blood taken to test for prolactin & all the rest. I found out that originally the level was at 1800, where it should have been under 600, and at the last test it was only 18, which seems really low?? Will be raising that with the consultant...
Yesterday, 4dpo, I was an emotional wreck. I've no idea why, and today I'm normal again. Really weird, trying not to symptom spot but wondering quietly...Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
I'm 5 days post blastocyst transfer today and have had some brown bleeding (tmi sorry) so guess thats it, again.
Never made it to test day and this is our 6th try.
Its not god damn fair.

Gymfriend,
I don't know about prolactin levels being too low. Mine were 1800 initially as well and last test 2 months ago showed mine is now 150, due for another test next month. This month has seeen my first "normal" cycle so perhaps lower is definately better!
Ginvzt I hope you can get something sorted out, If you can go through Bupa for £100 I would grab the opportunity with both hands! Often once you've seen a consultant they can refer you onto an NHS list, this happened when I went private for my MRI to diagnose the tumour, the consultant then referred me to NHS and I saw someone within a couple of weeks. Could be worth a try, it will at least get things moving in the right direction.
Congratulations Sarah, how long have you been trying?
Good luck to everyone this month lets see if we can have lots of BFP's this month!0 -

Oh lisa,I'm so sorry. I didn't make it to test day either when we had our Blato transfer - started spotting on day 10
Its so hard to try and not to get your hopes up when the % outcome is so good for a 5 day blasto transfer, its so unfair when things appear to be looking good.
You're a stronger lady than most,I know for sure that I couldn't go through 6 cycles, and I apologise for being unable to write any words of comfort, but as you know, theres precious little anybody can say or do to take the pain away.

Thanks everyone. I think I will give a call to Bupa on Friday, when I am back home and see what is it possible to do at this stag, as I have already started the process with NHS, so it would not be new referral. The good thing is, that I have checked Bupa website, and the consultant I am being sent to see next is also Bupa partner consultant.
If we can't work out anything there, then we will look into contacting PALS.
I think now I am believing that there is something wrong with me and we won't have baby until I get through all of the tests etc.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

So sorry Lisa. Brown is not red though, so hold on. May be some hope?0 -

Well if you count everything, 15 months. But in that time I have had two miscarriages, both at 12 weeks. Turns out I have Factor V Leiden, a blood clotting disorder. My last MC was in October; we took a break and didn't start trying again until the new year, this is my third cycle. I don't seem to have so much trouble actually getting pregnant, it's holding on to them that I'm no good at
I've started my clexane injections. The first yesterday was awful, I literally whimpered like a puppy, lying on the bed with the needle hovered over my stomach for about half an hour! I'm not a needlephobic but there is something about injecting yourself that is SO counter-intuitive - no idea how junkies ever get started! And it really stung when I did it, and I could feel the clexane spreading out under my skin which made me go all bleragggh. But this morning it was so much easier and it didn't really hurt at all, so I think I just got myself really wound up yesterday and made it worse. Still can't quite believe I have to do this for another 240 days. But if it helps me keep the baby, it will all be worth it.0
