Not much to report here except went to see a close cousins new baby on Saturday. Her name is Ruby, she arrived on Monday weighing 8lb 1oz. She is gorgeous, an absolute little darl.
My cousin was sterilised at the same time as having the c section as Ruby is baby #5.

Molly who is 8 and Ryan who is 3 wanted to come home with us because they said Ruby is too noisy :D

Hi, Just had my scan after 4 days of stimms, only got 4 follies (2 less than this stage last time),but trying to stay positive,as its early days.

toniq - Hope everything went to plan with your scan, roll on the gonal f - I know what you mean about feeling hormonal,I spent most of the weekend in tears.

Having lots of problems at work at the moment(feeling bullied) which isn't helping,so mega stressed, then I'm get stressed about being stressed !!!!!.If I had time on my side I'd definitely abandon this cycle as I just feel every thing is so wrong !!! looking on the bright side, at least I'll be having a couple of weeks off soon,as my clinic will give you a sick note for the 2ww.

    Baby dust to us all

    Morning all,

Hope everyone is ok and has had a good weekend?

Nottslass & Toniq I don't know anything about IVF but am keeping everything crossed for the both of you :)

No real news here, I'm on 10dpo and feel grim, have had stomach ache and the squits for 3 days :( And such horrendous stomach cramps :( Nightmare. Had my blood taken last week and have just got the results back, I think they look good :)

Prolactin is at 25 which I'm told is great so am absolutely overjoyed about that :) Estradial is 625 which was previously almost zero and FSH is 2.4 which again I'm told is good? So am hoping and praying that that is the tumour under control :)

    xxx

Nottslass the cylcle before last for me was perfect, everything was text book, even had 21 eggs removed at collection, 2 put back in at 5 days ( by a leading professor) and a total fail!
so don't think u r jinxed because everything is up in the air, it never will be perfect, and maybe this is how it's meant to be, hang in there, im tooing and froing between 2weeks bed rest for the 2ww, oh is ok with that but not sure, having 2weeks off will make life alot easier for u, as we r going to go insane waiting for test day, i'm not gonna test before and get dissapointed like before, im gonna hang it out till last minute..........yeah right! remind me this in a few weeks time lol, I'm trying to think happy happy thoughts but it's ruddy hard, me and oh have discussed what we r gonna do if it is a neg and that is we r gonna try again in september, I'm so hoping we don't come to that as i'd rather pump the money back into our house deposit fund.
sorry for waffling xxx roll on 5:30pm scan time!!!!! xxx one day i'll scan and see a baby there xxxxx
Gymfriend fingers crossed for u xxxxxxxxx

Toniq, hope the scan goes well. Bet you cant wait for the Gonal F, the pen is quite straightforward in comparison isnt it, and its exciting to see how many follicles you produce!! Good luck with it all

Shelly, lol at Molly and Ryan - they are going to have to get used to it!! Many sleepless nights to come! 5 kids - a busy house! Ruby is a lovely name for a little girl and what a good weight.

Hope everyone else is having a good day

Good luck ladies, its all over for us here again, 5 rounds with nothing to show for it.
Back to the drawing board, maybe in another 7 years trying we might get our BFP.
    But probably not.
    Best wishes to all trying

Sorry to hear this lisa. Big hugs to you. xxx

Finally some progress (or not). Called BUPA on Friday, and they will cover the consultations. So, as it was late on Friday already, this morning I managed to get an appointment to see a consultant at private hospital just a couple of miles down the road under BUPA cover on May 26th. Now just need to get the GP to fax over the referral letter to this private hospital.

I will be cancelling my appointment in August (!!!!) under NHS, but I am going to keep my appointment for ultrasound on May 15th, I think. I can then ask for the results and take them to the private consultant when I see him on the 26th. Do you think they would give me the copy of their findings?
