Talking of CM forgive me for sounding thick when I have already got a child but does EWCM mean that you are due to ovulate, have ovulated or are ovulating.

I am on CD13, my temp dropped this morning & I have the start of EWCM this evening & get the feeling that there will be a lot more in the morning.

We bd'd yesterday, would we be ok to wait until tomorrow before bding again?

    Found the following here... http://www.womenshealthlondon.org.uk/leaflets/cycle/cyclechanges.html

**Just before ovulation, a woman’s mucus becomes slippery, stretchy and clear – like raw egg-white. This egg-white mucus helps sperm move from the vagina through the cervix and into the uterus in search of an egg. This is the most fertile time in a woman’s cycle.
After ovulation, the mucus changes from the egg-white type back to a thicker, cloudier mucus. You may still be fertile if you see this mucus, but only for two or three days at most. Four days after your last egg-white mucus, you will be in the infertile phase of your cycle.**

Sorry Shelly, we seem to have been at cross purposes!! I thought you meant that you had (for want of a better word) discharge permanently!!! I thought that this is what I had in store, as I have not stopped since the surgery - although I think I may be at the end of it now!!!!

Sorry to cross examine you on your use of panty liners!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shall allow you to go back to your privacy!

    Hey, no problem :D

Like I said, I have no discharge/CM now at all. Maybe you will be the same?

How freaky today is my tenth dose too xxx

I see nurse on 27/04 for scan and Gonal f start xxx
then back on 4/05 to see how it's all going and work out how far from trigger shot ill be xx
same symptons, plus im delirious at nights, cant sleep long, im injecting into my belly and im so tender,i keep looking at the gonal f pens wistfully, im desperate to get to that stage, its been a while since i used gonal f pens and am nervous as i remember alot of clicking and twisting?!?! i've got 4 of those pens this time around which is quite scary and daunting xx
much luck xx and thanks for welcome xxx

    Hi toniq,

I'm finding injecting the bureslin alot worse than the gonal f - it stings as its going in, I have bought some emla cream from boots (it numbs the area before the jab) and it seems to help a bit !

Gonal f is still lots of twisting & clicking - but its still better than the burselin.

Got my scan to see if I've down regged on Thursday, then I'll hopefully be able to start the stimms.

EC should be w/c 4th may (all being well)

    Good luck

Hi everyone, did a test this morning but it was -ve. So feeling a bit flat. It's still early but I don't have much hope as I have zero symptoms. Sigh. On to another month.

Sarah, don't lose hope. I know, it is hard.

I haven't been well over last 2 weeks or so. My cough got so bad last week, that I could say a sentence without coughing!!!! Went to doctor, and he just said, oh you have airway irritability, without even looking at my throat, which hurts like hell and I could barely swallow on Saturday and it kept me awake last night. Well, at least he gave me prescription for some antibiotics, hopefully that will clear up whatever I got... But then - I am in my second half of the month, what if this is the month? Surely, antibiotics are not good in pregnancy and it says on the leaflet that you should tell doctor if you are pg or ttc - well, I only read it this morning, and I only have 6 pills left to take!

I think we all have to be extra careful now ginvzt. I had some cream for my eye recently and it wasn't till after using it for a while that I realised it wasn't to be used in pregnancy.
Note to self: must be more careful.

I'm so anxious it's unbeliveable, I'm doing my best to stay calm, and following loads of do's/dont's but feel like a tightly wound spring. The coffee/coke/chocolate has stopped!!!!

To be blunt this will have cost up to now £32,000
So obviously want this to work, so we can start channelling our monies elsewhere.
At 36 though im under no illusions of it working, just keeping faith and pray hard.
This ivf all my meds have been upped and the dr's are being more aggressive so hopefully that will be the charm.
It's a very very very lonely place at the moment, just taking each stage at a time, the worst part for me is the same for all of us the 2ww, which already fills me with immense dread.
Hope everyone is ok and doing well. xxxxxxxxx

    Ah Toniq,

Couldn't just read and run! My heart goes out to you, we're the same age and We've been trying 2 years now. We haven't even begun on the IVF route and I can only imagine it must magnify everything incredibly. As if it's not hard enough coping with all the drugs, tests, procedures etc but to have to find such an enormous amount of money can only add to the stress. I will keep everything crossed for you and hope you get a so deserved BFP this cycle.

Hi Toniq, good to hear from you - sorry you feel so anxious. Try and stay as calm as you can, and believe that it is going to work, it wont make it any worse at the other end. We will all have everything crossed for you, and we are a powerful bunch us lot, and we will all be routing for you every step of the way. I remember my first IVF (Ive had 4) I had to go to Harley Street for egg collection during the tube strike, I was SO wound up getting there - 1 hour late, I had been up since 3 - I thought all my follicles would have popped, my husband still shakes when he remembers the experience!!!! But I am 40, so I am further down the zimmer frame stakes than you!!!

I really believe that a positive frame of mind helps, and that you need to really believe that it will happen. One of the other mums at the school had 2 rounds of IVf at 38 and 40, got pregnant both times straight away, second time had twins. She is quite formidable, and I reckon that it never even entered her head that it wouldnt work (it wouldnt dare!!)

    Thinking of you - Lilo
