Hi toniq and welcome. I can sympathise with you on the buselerin - I had it for 6 months as a treatment for endometriosis. It is the most awful drug and is the main reason I do the short protocal 'natural IVF' although in short doses I am sure the gain will outweigh the pain!! I threw phones through windows and was a complete basket case. The symptoms are because the drug shuts down the system, putting you into an artificial menopause.

That said, I am sure that you are excited to be on the journey that is IVF again, even though its a bit! pants in places.

Feel free to rant/rave/fret here as much as you like, we have 2 others about to embark on IVF and various others who have been through it - I am sure between us we can soothe/sympathise/empathise with you!!!!!

Keep posting, it would be nice to have another BFP

    All the best Lilo

    Hi all

Just wanted to say to everyone not to give up.

We tried for 2 years for our second child. My wife has anti-phospholipid syndrome which caused 3 miscarriages and then wasn't ovulating. I gave up drinking, cycling, changed to looser underwear and our consultant even said for me to but my bits in cold water twice a day which I did for 6 months- my count went up from 10ppm to 40ppm!

Then my wife went onto Clomid, we used Preseed lubricant and we finally got pregnant. At 11 weeks we thought we had lost it but amazingly it was still there. Then she developed Gestational Diabetes and had to inject 4 times a day with insulin on top of the daily heparin injection for anti-phospholipid syndrome. She spent 6 weeks vomiting, not keeping a down a thing, even water.

On Sunday she was admitted to hospital with high blood pressure and on Thursday she had a c-section to deliver a beatiful baby girl 3 weeks early.

There were times we were so down and felt like giving up but its all been worth it.

    Ah Jonny,

Congratulations! Thanks for posting that, sometimes when you're caught up in the middle of all the TTC problems and issues it's easy to forget why we put ourselves through all of this. Well done you for doing your bit too as I know some of us feel it's us women that have to go through everything and our men are very reluctant to alter anything in the quest to conceive so it's a refreshing change to read something like this. I've also shown my hubby to show him that he can do his bit too even if it was your wife that was diagnosed with the problem.
    Congratulations to you both.

Know what you mean Shelly - I assumed this would ease off - are you telling me Im stuck with this for life!!!!

    Lilo

Sorry you will have to give me a clue :rotfl:

You assumed what would ease off? Lack of CM?
Or are you talking about the use of panty liners?

Talking of CM forgive me for sounding thick when I have already got a child but does EWCM mean that you are due to ovulate, have ovulated or are ovulating.

I am on CD13, my temp dropped this morning & I have the start of EWCM this evening & get the feeling that there will be a lot more in the morning.

We bd'd yesterday, would we be ok to wait until tomorrow before bding again?

Oh I see! I guess it depends on why you are having to use them. Do you have a discharge inbetween AF and CM time? Or spotting still after the surgery?

I don't really know what to say because I wear them everyday purely because I can't get used to the feeling of knicks against my bits, feels very strange :rotfl:
I have worn them everyday for so long I can't go without now.
