Sending hugs to nikinoo, annie and bunie. Not a huge amount to report from this end, except that we're on our third cycle of ttc in 2009. Sigh.

Annie I'm so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself. xx

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I'm much more positive now I have the
tears out of the way. And it's very strange, but it's almost beginning to feel like a pleasant change to not be constantly thinking about ttc for a while.

    Hi all

Sending hugs to Nikinoo, AnnieM and Bunnie.

Has anyone else been on clomid and put on weight? I seem to have gained 5lb and can't stop eating. Problem is I'm on CD21, first round of clomid and hopeful that I might have conceived, so want to give in to the cravings as I don't want to deprive the baby of nutrients if that is what it is requesting. But if I'm not (which my pessimistic mind tells me will be the case - been trying for 3 1/2 years), I dont want to put on any more weight. I don't want anything strange to eat but have been sending dh out for chocolate mousse and biscuits (which is strange for me as I don't have a sweet tooth). Otherwise, I walk for an hour everyday with the dog and have been eating extremely healthily, no alcohol, no caffeine etc. Any advice would be appreciated

Annie, I am so sorry to hear... Lots of hugs!

I had what seemed a rollercoaster cycle. After 25 day cycle last month, this one was 30 days!!!! I am really annoyed with my body for playing tricks like this on me. I did a test on Tuesday, which of course was negative. I was crying at home in the morning. Was going away with work for the rest of the week (still not back home!!!!) and had a cry while driving... I was so down - but I can't change anything.

Got my first appointment next Wednesday with the hospital. Can anyone give some insight of what to prepare for? Do we both need to go or is it just me? The referral was in my name and I am being sent to women's health department.

I am going back home the next day after appointment, and I know my mum will be quizzing me and will have plenty of 'suggestions'. The problem is, I am not ready to talk about this with her...

Oh well, enjoy this fantastic day everyone!!! Lets hope weather keeps well for a bit longer!
