Well not much to report here....as usual :D

I am on my last cycle of using the Clearblue monitor and looks like a longer than usual cycle for the second month in a row because I am on CD17 and haven't ov'd yet. My last cycle was long too, ov'd on day 23 when usually I ov at around days 13-15.

We have been better than usual so far this month and have been bding every 2-3 days.

At the end of the cycle I have to send the monitor back and they in return will send me out 6 months worth of dip in a pot type ov sticks. I hope they come with instructions :D

Last time I tried to use this type of ov stick I didn't get on very well.

Best wishes everyone and have a great weekend!

  • Just caught up on the thread since earlier in the week. Good luck Lilo - I hope it all goes really well for you. See you back here before too long!

I had difficulty posting after my HSG as it kept losing what I'd typed. In my haste to post an abridged version I forgot to mention that the raidologist told me I have a retroverted uterus, which I never knew before. I know it's nothing to worry about (no more than being left or right handed) but some would say it can cause semen to pool behind the cervix if we BD on our backs, which means that the swimmers have a difficult job getting swept up in the mucus. Apparently this can be helped by the 'rear entry' position or woman on top (facing his feet is meant to be even better!), and I read that laying on my tummy after BD helps the swimmers to gather in a better place to start their journey. So for anyone who knows they have a retroverted/tilted uterus it's worth a try!

Did anyone else feel like they'd OV'd early after their HSG? I don't monitor OV other than going by sore boobs (they always hurt from CD14 until AF starts) and this month they've been sore since CD9 or 10, which seems far too early.

    Hello everyone!

Lilo - best of luck, hope all goes well for you!!!!!

Nothing new or exciting here either. I am CD24, FF puts me 11DPO. The temperature dropped by 0.2 C this morning. So, maybe I will be having a short cycle this month... Never mind, the doctor will tell what is going on with me on Wednesday (or one hopes...).

    Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

    Hiya Becs,

My MRI was cancelled :( Have to go next wk instead, what a pain. Think it may have been a blessing in disguise though [possibly!] as I'm on CD34 and still no AF or sign, so if I do happen to get my BFP soon then it's good that I hadn't had the MRI while I may have been pg :) Though I doubt I will..!

Thanks for the website, still trying to get the guts to sign up and take the plunge in the forum :) I really want to know what people found on cabergoline in terms of average cycle length for the first month then the second, maybe I'll sign up & ask today :)

Hope you are ok? & everyone else?

Do it Gymfriend, They're a really friendly bunch on there and I've found them so supportive and really helpful. I've found out so much more about prolactinoma and treatments and other peoples experiences. There's also alot of hope on there too, several women who have got pregnant not long after starting treatment. Just don't mention Russell Watson unless you want the forum to become a hive of irate comments!

AF has arrived today, so I shall be phoning the clinic tomorrow to check if I should be trying to go for my HSG this cycle - I'll also ask about the counsellor too. AF is a horrible one this time, I've had a decent amount of pain and I'm glad the hurting is done for this month. At least it gives me a reason for how much I flipped out about work stress yesterday and Friday. Hopefully I'll find it easier to deal with things once the hormones aren't flooding my body...
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Well, I am not very happy today... I am only on CD25, the temp is low, but still higher than coverline. However, I started spotting today - not old blood, but fresh and pink... I think that means I am out for this month. And just tonight I had a dream, that I was holding my baby. Couldn't go back to sleep afterwards. I am still trying to hold on to that dream - one day, hopefully it will be true!

    Morning all,

Signed up last night Becs now just waiting for them to approve me & let me loose :) Thanks for giving me a shove in the right direction, I think part of me wasn't doing it because I didn't want to admit to myself that it's an issue...

Well I'm now on CD35 & no sign of AF, beginning to lose my mind!! Have tested 3 times & all BFN, last test is gonna be on Wednesday if she isn't here then I will try & get to the Dr's for a blood test...worried that my prolactin medication isn't doing its thing...

Weirdly I've had 3 nights of baby dreams - Friday I dreamt I was giving birth, Saturday that I got a positive on a test, but it was all weird and just read the word positive instead of the line and last night I dreamt we had one child and were expecting another looking at new houses! Now, I'm wondering if it's a sign or I've officially just gone loopy...OH thinks I've gone mad :D

Ginvzt - keep holding on, one day you will have a baby, just in its own time :)

AF is such a cow bag, rubbish when she's here, rubbish when she is MIA & no bfp...eurgh.
