Had a smear last night which was quite uncomfortable for some reason. Its my first 6 month one after having them every 3 months so I'm a little nervous of the results in a week or 2.[/quote]

If it helps I was told that you are more sensitive at ovulation so to have the smear either side of it if possible.

Good news on the HSG nikkinoo

Gymfiend - those symptoms sound very interesting, when do you retest? I know you were waiting until CD35 thats soon isnt it?

Mrs Ryan, well done on the diet, just be careful re aspartame/artificial sweeteners, they can be linked with Mcs, same as ibuprofen. Have you tried the pcos diet - I lost shedloads earlier this year, but I will admit it was harsh!! I cut out dairy (lactose intolerant) wheat and basically got all my carbs from veg!!! but I felt the best I had in years, a bit like a detox. I did have to relax it and introduce other carbs in moderation as I did run out of energy after a while, but I have still kept the weight off and broadly follow the diet even now .... except the chocolate .... except the choc cake ..... forgetting the McDs I had today ... But when Im good Im very very good!!!! And I dont know if it was a coincidence, but I did fall preg as well, although I lost it (I didnt know I was preg til I lost it) but thats another story as I believe I am another sticky blood sufferer as I have now had 2 mcs, had early onset pre-eclampsia, and having read the hughes syndrome stuff, may have an explaination for my total dementia like brain!!!

Anyway, those that have survived reading this far, thank you all for your crossed legs, it worked!!!! I will be admitted on Sunday:eek:   it has been brought forward:eek:   for my trachelectomy so in 6 months time, I will be TTC with a vengeance!!! Although, I will be over 40, and to add to my list of fertility probs I have gained a blocked tube NICE!!! So, basically, I will still have the equipment, but may need a blessing from the pope, Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama to get pregnant. Alternatively, a small miracle will do!!

But at least I have hope.

    Thanks for all your support

Well we were told in work today that things are not good enough generally and that it must be sorted out. Quite a big telling off all round really. I'm confident that I'm not letting the side down, so I'm trying not to let it worry me too much but it's not easy. I know full well that this is going to make the atmosphere in work unbearable for a little while and that everyone's going to be blaming everyone else.

And I've been trying hard to chill out. Guess that's out the window then.

With regards to getting my HSG I think I'll take the advice from on here and make sure I ring the hospital myself come CD1.

Have you thought any more about the counsellor with regards to the work stress?

I can't speak for the Pope, Mother Teresa or the Dalai Lama, but I'm sure we all wish for it all to go well for you, and for you to get your BFP! :j

I hope you'll post as soon as you feel well enough after to let us know how you are.

pa2539 fab news big huge congrats to you.

Mrs_Ryan I was told by consultant that I also had to loose weight specially in order to go ahead with IVF as they wouldn't consider me unless BMI was less than 29. To me this was the best motivation. I have the occasional slip but now have gotten into a dieting/excercising routine and the results speak for them selves which is such a reward IMO. Keep at it you have my support.

Gymfiend I too have been getting unbearably hot and am due AF shortly, also been suffering with boob sorness which is def not norm for me. Don't think its BFP as I have started spotting so am maybe thinking the wieght loss is changing my cycle.

liloandstitch have requested 1xMiracle for delivery ASAP, just hope they were listening.

Huggles and positive vibes to you all xxx

    Morning All,

Well Lilo I wish you all the luck in the world, when I next have a chat with God I'll ask him to get the Pope on board too! Brilliant news so far though, must be a sign of things to come ;)

Jiblets - hope things don't get too bad at work? Just try to remind yourself that it's not you & it's not a personal thing & do use the counsellor if you need to.

Somnium - spotting? No way it could be implantation?

I'm on CD30, no sign of AF, day 5/6 [can't remember!] of stomach cramps, feeling bloated and the size of a house. Took another test last night and it was a BFN so now I am just going to sit tight and wait for AF to rear her ugly head as I'm sure she will. I was so sure I'd OV'd on CD12 but I guess not. If it wasn't CD12, I had a lot of CM [had none any other time in the month] at the start of last week - Monday I think, which would make me...9dpo, so maybe she really is on her way :( Will keep you all updated - if she's not here by CD35 I'll test again, though I'm sure she will be!

Sometimes, though, gymfiend, you can know when you ov, bd at all the right times, and it still doesn't happen. Happened to me this month - BDed every day around OV, and I know EXACTLY when I oved, the chances were excellent, but no go. Just have to shrug your shoulders and move on to the next month I suppose. Good luck. Sx

    Good luck Gymfiend!

I am really starting to wonder what's going on with me - my temp is STILL up, and is a little higher than yesterday! I made DH take his temp too, in case my thermometer was on the fritz as the temps have been quite flat-ish, but his came out way different to mine.

I'm either CD6 or 18dpo  Surely if it was a normal cycle my temps would have come down by now????? I still have those odd 'bumps', and am very bloated.

I got a letter saying I'm going to get an appointment at the clinic soon (was a bit miffed when I mentioned 'fertility clinic' to the woman on the phone when I rang to confirm how long it would be replied using the phrase 'infertility clinic') :j Maybe I won't need it though...

    Hope everyone's ok,

I think I will go to the counsellor, but I'll wait for my HSG so I feel I'm more "in the system" if you know what I mean. Work was ok today, nice and supportive - but I'm waiting for the fingers to start pointing....
