Sometimes, though, gymfiend, you can know when you ov, bd at all the right times, and it still doesn't happen. Happened to me this month - BDed every day around OV, and I know EXACTLY when I oved, the chances were excellent, but no go. Just have to shrug your shoulders and move on to the next month I suppose. Good luck. Sx

All too well aware of that unfortunately :(

Thing that is confusing me though is that I'm on CD31 today - still no sign of AF despite being almost certain I ov'd on CD12. I've had bloating and stomach cramps since CD24 which I presumed were AF on her way but 7 days seems a long (and cruel) time to have bloating and stomach cramps & still no AF?! Argh, body driving me mad. Have tested again this morning (despite promising myself I wouldn't) and another BFN.

AnnieM - what's AF been like, has she gone already? Seems funny that your temp is still up? Maybe related to prolactin? I would get them to retest & also check estradiol to see how that is in relation.

Jiblets glad you've decided to see the counsellor, sounds like it's just what you need :)

Have a good day all, xx

It can happen that you have AF with temps still high, then it can take a few days to come back down to where they should be (this confused me the other month when I started AF with very high temps, wasn't till about CD6 that mine finally dropped to where they normally are pre-ov). Not sure what causes it though and so far has only happened once to me since I have been temping (which to be fair is only about 5 months).
  • CD7 and temp still up! Did an HPT this morning, but nada, so now I'm really confused!

Gymfiend - AF was a couple of days of 'proper' but not heavy at all and no clots, and then a day of nothing, then DBS for a couple of days. As of today she is officially gone.

I should get the prolacting repeat result tomorrow (as well as the HCG, though I suspect it's just my cycle that's messed up)

EDIT: Very fed up now - just found out our referral got messed up somehow - my referral and DH's had got mixed up and it ended up that they were trying to send me to see why MY sperm count was low! It only got noticed because I thought it was odd they weren't sending me to Ob/Gyn, and that the consultant they wanted me to see only deals with male problems, so I rang up to check! Now DH and I have to go back on the waiting list all over again :( Why can't things just go right for once?! :(
  • Great News Lilo! :j

Sorry I've still not really caught up with the thread. Having a bout of migraines & generally bad heads, and not feeling great, and wo*k sucks big-time at the mo', which doesn't help!

DH is worried about me, and wants me to go to the Dr, but I am very wary as I know my 'symptoms' will make them decide I am depressed (long story - been there before and seen it with others too) and if that goes officially on my records I know they won't want to carry on with IVF until it is 'sorted' (if it can ever get 'sorted') and it is a bit of a 'chicken and egg' thing really, as the thing which depresses me most is being childless......AAARRGGGHHH!

(((HUGS))) to all who need them.

That sounds like my doctors used to tell me I was having panic attack for any complaint I had (from trouble breathing, even when I am just about to fall asleep, to headaches, etc) and prescribe ibuprofen!!!! Stopped going to them as I can get ibuprofen myself!

Well, I got the second blood test done on Monday, and we made an appointment to see GP next Wednesday. Strangely, they still haven't received OH's results, which was done 2 weeks ago! Will have to wait and see!

Oh, and I pretty happy at the moment - got a payrise, I wasn't really expecting one, but I got one and it is rather good one! I think I want to go for a nice dinner tonight!

Hi everyone, thanks again for being so nice!!

I have tried just about every diet known to man (and woman ha ha) I was very naughty today though.... have to try harder!
Docs appt today. She's put me on Vaniqa for the excess hair and iron tablets as she said my iron levels are low.... and i have to go for day 2-5 and day 21 bloods next month.. then she said she will refer.
I had my lovely (shoulder length but horrifically thin now) hair cut short today... that was very difficult. My hair has always been lovely and thick but thanks to the PCOS is now falling out in clumps and I have *whispers, dont tell anyone!!!* bald patches on the top of my head!!! Doctor said having it cut short would definitely help and thankfully I had a lovely hairdresser who was very sympathetic as her cousin had the same problem and she cut it short but it still looks fab... she cut it into a jaw length bob and it looks lovely and a lot thicker and healthier which is good.
Doctor was very positive and that definitely helped, she is young and enthusiastic and really wants to help, which is great. Felling quite upbeat today. Im going away this weekend, which Im really looking forward to, should take my mind off things.
    Have a lovely weekend everyone!!
