no actually on second thought maybe not... have started having heartburn today - is it normal for it to start at 12 ish weeks??? Or is this something I ate/something I have stressed over? :rotfl:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

If this turns out to be a 12lb baby, I blame you & delia (i couldn't work out how to halve her recipe)
I am now half way through a huge pile of pancakes. :EasterBun
They are yummy. You were right. And I didn't have to go out in the snow. :T0 -

If you can get here in 2 minutes, there MAY be a pancake left.
My heartburn always starts with the blue line on the stick.Rennies are my friend, I keep atleast 20 in each bag.

LOL sooz - I wish! More to the point would the coppers think I'd lost the plot when they pull me over in a 4x4 wearing jammies and slippers screaming "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! THERE IS A PANCAKE WAITING AND I HAVE HEARTBURN!!!" :rotfl:
Might make myself some tomorrow tho...
Might call the doc tomorrow and get gaviscon - WHICH I hasten to add you can get on prescription...Which we all know if freeeeeeee once you have your little magic card
edit: more worrying is I know a fair number of the local coppers including a head of traffic in nearby town and some CID people and normal coppers mainly as my neighbour is a copper and you get to know them when you end up invading each others gardens for BBQs in the summerMaybe it's because we have the biggest BBQ we always get invited?
So if I get stopped looking like a loon I KNOW it'll get back to my neighbourDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Gaviscon might be free, but it's like drinking putty. And the aniseed flavour is evil. Peppermint atleast smells nice. All taste Bleugh. No good for me, as it makes me sick, which makes the heartburn worse. :mad:0 -
Found some remegels! WAAAHOOOO read the package for yonks to make sure it was ok to use and seems to be... took one and the blessed thing worked! YAY!
So now I can concentrate on feeling sick and the fact I have minor twinges on the right hand side... *sigh* feel fairly minor so probably just growth twinges...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Mmmm well I'll give it a go - the mint flavour at leastMy colleague swears by it as she's pregnant too and has been suffering heartburn really badly...
If I don't like it then I'll revert to renniesbut as I have 6 months to go I can see it getting expensive :rotfl:
Actually you have just reminded me in a round about way to ask my mum for another "treats" package from home (Denmark) they do these mint boiled sweets with a chocolate centre... I know you can probably get similar things here but those ones taste of childhood to me so might get her to put some in a box for me heheheheDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! (slowly creeps back in........ am I allowed back?!)rosies mum - you are supposed to be reassuring us first timers not scaring the living daylights out of us!!!
Tee hee, sorry MFD, didn't mean to scare everyone! Seriously tho, if it had been that bad, there was no way DH would have been allowed with 10 miles of me again iykwim:rotfl:
Think I'm just having a bit of a wobble, you know, last minute (or last 3 week) nerves! I blame being induced last time around.... was expecting to be 2 weeks over again this time and then midwife kinda got me worried it may all happen sooner rather than later. So, seeing as it was all "drug induced" last time, I'm freaking out over every little twinge etc! I know they say when you are in labour you will know, but I stil feel like a first timer, not knowing quite how it will all start offPS I love that dress, don't they do any discount codes elsewhere on MSE?!
Anyway hugs to all, am off to bed soon to spend it tossing and turning with my many pillows, trying to get comfy and the usual twice nightly visit to the loo..... oh the joys!Proud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0 -
I'm in that boat right beside you, Rosies Mum!
Although I kind of liked knowing when I was going into hospital as I could arrange for my dog to be looked after, leisurely went to WH Smith and chose a tonne of magazines, no middle of the night dash to the hospital! And Poppy was born a few minutes after 24hrs of arriving being zero cm dilated!
This time I'm sure I'm going to be stressing whether my waters go in the middle of Asda . Oh, and I've already had a scare two weeks ago thinking things were happening only to be diagnosed with a water infection :rotfl:.
