LOL caz - I told DH that we're swapping sides too when he got home :) His side is closer to the bathroom and I'm having to get up to piddle a lot so I'm commandeering it! :)

Me and OH swap sides each night, I find that getting a variety of sleeping positions makes me less achy.

    Mprning peeps! :hello:
How is everyone? I'm ok, still bloody tired and getting bad back pain and sciatica at the moment, so I'm milking it or all it's worth!
I've been getting stretching pains in my tummy, is that normal?
Also, are we allowed to eat goats cheese?

I can only sleep on one side of the bed, I have to lay on my left side because of my back, and have nothing infront of me, so have to sleep on the left side of the bed, if that makes sense

  • Hi guys,
a little more spotting in the night, and a little bit of cramping on the side that I felt implant but not as much as yesterday, so hoping all will be well. HPT is stronger today than 2 days ago.

    AM:
There are different types of goats' cheeses available. The type that is probably most common in the UK has a white rind similar to Brie and Camembert. This type of goats' cheese is sometimes called Chevre and is often served in restaurants, for example in a goats' cheese salad. You should avoid this when you are pregnant. However, other types of goats' cheese that don't have this kind of rind should be fine to eat, particularly hard cheeses.

Alex - welcome!!!! when was your date of LMP?!!!

My OH likes his side and when I had my knees operated on I could not walk for weeks, and I took his side!!! he soon reclaimed it back! but when bubs comes he will be sleeping on that side so I will be reclaiming the side back!!! As I will be breastfeeding so will need quick access to my BB's!!!!

I've no idea where I'm going to put the baby. I don't have space for it! Got a kingsized bed in a small room, so can't put a cot or even a moses basket down the side. Come to thing of it, how the hell am I going to get out of bed when I'm really pregnant?!

Any dairy product should be fine - even goats cheese - so long as it's pasturised :) You should avoid cheeses with blue in them though as they have additional bacteria to grow the mould :)

  • Just back from NCT sale - not a huge amount we needed, but we got a grobag, and a sling :) Managed to survive without being knocked off my crutches too - if I wasn't on them I think we would probably have stuck around for longer and looked at more stuff, but it was a bit too manic for me!

This afternoon is the new birth preparation class at the hospital - no idea how useful it will be - will keep you all posted!

DH is going bananas, as his parents were meant to be helping us fit our new kitchen today, and were coming over "this morning"... but there isn't much of it left, and we have to go out to the class soon. Somehow it will turn out to be my fault I'm sure ;)
