well i slept on OH side of the bed last night and i had a geat nights sleep and dont feel achy, so looks like im taking that side over for now

I have always slept on the side furthest away from the bedroom door so that DH gets it first if we are ever burgled! :D :rotfl:

  • Just back from NCT sale - not a huge amount we needed, but we got a grobag, and a sling :) Managed to survive without being knocked off my crutches too - if I wasn't on them I think we would probably have stuck around for longer and looked at more stuff, but it was a bit too manic for me!

This afternoon is the new birth preparation class at the hospital - no idea how useful it will be - will keep you all posted!

DH is going bananas, as his parents were meant to be helping us fit our new kitchen today, and were coming over "this morning"... but there isn't much of it left, and we have to go out to the class soon. Somehow it will turn out to be my fault I'm sure ;)

Well done on bagging your bargains! :T And good luck at your class this afternoon :D.

ladybird can i ask why ur on crutches is it due to spd? as i have been warned to rest up or ill get them:(

not sure about cheeses not a thing i eat often however on holiday i was naughty and ate some of OH stilton and mushroom sauce on his steak and it was oh so yummy lol! talking bout that if we can get babysitter might talk him into taking me out for lunch:D:D lol
What's for you won't go past you
  • yes, its spd - I was given them by the physio with orders to use them all the time to stop it flaring up so badly that I ~need~ them, if you see what I mean. I don't bother with them when I'm toddling round the house/office, but I do if I'm going anywhere outside. Had to park in the farthest flung carpark in the world, so I definitely needed them to get there (it didn't occur to me to brandish them at the parking man, and get into a disable space!). I was a bit sore when I got home, but it's amazing what a sit down and a cup of tea can do.

Any dairy product should be fine - even goats cheese - so long as it's pasturised :) You should avoid cheeses with blue in them though as they have additional bacteria to grow the mould :)

    Hiya

Just a quick note to say you still need to avoid goats cheese with a rind, and any other soft cheese with a rind (eg Camembert of Brie) as the rind is developed by a bacteria / mould, in the same way the blue in blue cheese is. I originally thought any cheese was ok as long as it's pasteurised, but unfortunately it's not the case:rolleyes: . The things we give up, eh?

Feeling pretty rotten today. Got a fair amount of aching, and occasional stabbing pain in my bump. Not severe pain, but noticeable. Phoned the Doctors, who said I can go down there to be prodded if I want, but they can't give me a scan, so I might not want to bother. She said it is probably just growing pains. So I'm eating chocolate to take my mind off it.

    Evening everyone,
How are we all? Sorry to be a little silly but how do I add my name to the due date list?

Nicole136 - what's lmp? (still getting used to the abbreviations!)

Septemberbaby - thanks, I think my worries will settle once I've reached 12 weeks or at least as more weeks go on, when I was pregnant with my son I was exactly the same because I had a MC with my first PG. But I've got my fingers and toes crossed that I'll be as blessed as I was with my son.
Not long for you now!! Are you all ready for the arrival?
