Alex - just copy the latest list into a post, and add yourself to it. I think LMP is Last Menstrual Period.

poor you lady, im not that bad yet but tbh i dont think that its going to be too long before i am. trying to talk OH into xmas shopping tom to get it out the way incase im not able in a few weeks but being a typical man i just get the blank look? can i ask how far on you were when you got them? i am 25 weeks and have been given a support belt and physio wants me to go back soon?

on a plus note MIL has offered to take kids tom so i can rest or go do something, now the only problem is what do i do lol! have sat about most of the day and i really should have done something?

FG chocolate will make you feel better lol (she says with a wspa in hand:D)

  • Well! I woke up this morning absolutely bursting for a wee and when I felt my tummy, I can feel my womb at my belly button already! Yay!

Now it all feels real for me, my bump is coming and it's not just fat! I can, however, kiss goodbye to my waistline. My weekly email from babycentre said I might notice my waistline thickening this week. MIGHT?! THICKENING?!! It's pretty much vanished :(

Oh God, I hope I don't gain another two stone.

  • I'm 30 + 5 Caz (DH didn't believe I was only 30 weeks earlier - he thought I was further on that that. Men!!!) I went to physio at around 20 weeks, and they gave me a sling thing to support my tummy, but it wasn't as helpful as the pelvic corset thing I was already wearing, so I went back to that. And they gave me crutches too... half the time I feel like a fraud using them when I'm fine, but if I go to far without using them I really know it afterwards! I'm not too bad most of the time, so long as I stick to my limits. But as I get bigger my limits are starting to change, which is annoying - it will all be worth it in the end though :)

Preparation class this afternoon was quite helpful in the end - I'd read enough that there wasn't that much they told us that I didn't know already (other than a few practical bits like when to actually go to the hospital!) but in a way that was good, as it means that I'm feeling like I'm prepared :) The midwife who did it was really nice, reassuring and realistic, so I didn't leave panicking or anything! We got to have a tour round the maternity unit too, which was good- we know exactly where we are going now!

Had a bit of a hormonal episode when I got home (about how much time we have to do so much stuff, and how no-one but me seems to have any sense of priority.... the usual!) but feel much better for a nap. We're working on replacing our kitchen at the moment before baby comes, and there is too much talk and not enough action at the moment. I'm sure it will all come together, but not without a frantic scuffle at the end, and the baby coming home to the smell of wet paint, which I was trying to avoid.

    ~deep breath~

Sorry, I will stop whinging now. I do feel a lot better for a nap, honest ;)

Hi guys, went to my Dads for the day today, was great to see him but a little frustrating... We used to go late in the day, after lunch and have tea with them but seeing as DD is on half term we went early so had lunch and left at 6:30 without having had any tea so I felt really sick on the train home... Then to top it off, after deciding we would have chippie chips for a quick meal we got on the bus from the station and it was peeing it down... Too heavy to stop off in the chip shop so we got in about 9pm, so hungry I was dry heaving and absolutely soaked to the skin... Whose idea was it to buy a winter coat with no hood?!

It wouldn't be so bad but if we didn't make the 2hr journey over there we'd only see them twice a year, they never come to us... And they have a car! (and I also offered petrol money for a lift home tonight which would take 45mins instead of 2 hours but hey ho...)

Anyway... Moan over... Hubby had bought home a couple of those rustlers burgers because they were reduced in tesco, I was a little sceptical but they're not actually that bad... And probably close to the way BK burgers are made... I swear they pre cook everything and just microwave the burgers as needed....

I'm a little emotional at the moment... Went to sleep crying last night and woke up all @rsey this morning according to OH... I didn't think I was that bad though... But back to feeling all tearful now... Isn't pregnancy great!

(Oh and Tine, well done on the gifts... DH bought me some gorgeous perfume before the wedding and I can't wear any of it now... Really sensitive to smells at the minute!)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

sorry to ask so many questions but i dont know anyone else who has spd, and as for the last time i was just made to get on with it where as this time around i really cant? im trying to take it easy so i dont need to go on crutches but i know it may come to that? i was given a big tubigrip for around my stomach(as i split stomach muscles in last pregnancy) and also a support belt, however i have these hold you all in bodysuits for under a dress i bought pre pregnancy and wondered if these would have the same effect? glad your visit went well and dont worry about the kitchen i bet it is all done and you will not even notice it in a few weeks with the pile of baby sick clothes etc etc!! only kidding:L:L:L

poor you krystal they didnt even take you up when offering petrol money thats a bit mean? my OH loves they burgers but not for me?? i was told yest i was having a go at evryone and noone knows how to be around me but THB right now i dont care!! hormones are wonderful eh!

    Hello all

I'm just over 12 weeks by dates (but have a long cycle, so suspect a few days less). Have daing scan this weds and nuchal (private) on Thurs.

Every 2 weeks (6, 8, 10 and now 12) I spot. AND have pain. M/w not concerned. Happens on weekends, so scare myself silly I can't get hold of anyone. We don't have an early preg unit here.

Yesterday I lost a bloody piece of mucus then nothing. Today I woke up and had bright red spotting - heaviest so far, although not heavy. Lost morning sickness a week and a bit ago - all of a sudden. One day I was throwing up meals, the next perfectly fine. Can do trousers back up and even drink tea again. However, I have developed heartburn the last 2 days.

Am so scared this baby has died and scan will show a missed m/c on Weds. Am taking my toddler with me and hubs won't be there - job interview (redundancy) My mum is on hols somewhere exotic and no-one knows I'm pg. Have to pick up 2 big childen (10 & 8) from school an hour after scan. Hubs won't be home from interview for a few hours after that :-((

    Feeling alone and scared :(

Hi greent - do they class 12 weeks as early pregnancy? I'm sure you would be able to phone your labour ward - even just to put your mind at rest. The midwives will be used to the worries that pregnant women have. My m/w has given me her mobile number and has said I can call her anytime, but that I can always call the labour ward too.

I know it's easy to say, but try not to worry ((((((hugs))))))
