:hello:
Hi
Been lurking for a while and thought it was about time I posted.
I am, based on cycle calculations, 7 weeks pregnant. Have known for exactly 2 weeks now. Told the doctor over the phone two weeks ago and just waiting for my first appointment. We have only told our two closest friends who we know we can trust implicitly not to tell. It's killing me to hide it, as I hate keeping secrets. I am so scared I will slip up, too. I am desperate to tell my parents, although we have decided to wait until we have had our first appointment, at which time it will all bit a bit more 'real' not to mention officially confirmed so we will be able to tell people.
It's really strange because I don't actually 'feel' pregnant, aside from the really sore boobs, tiredness and the hideous spots breaking out, oh and the bloatedness. Other than that i am fine! Does anyone else feel like this. I guess I should count myself lucky, really! I think my Mum had really good pregnancies from what she has told me in the past, so I guess I have inherited her goodness.0 -
Congrats li'l_p
Don't mean to rain on your parade but you still have plenty of time to develop morning sickness
The Doctor will calculate your pregnancy based on the first day of your last period and at 7 weeks it's still early days but I think telling your parents is a good ideawe told all ours (complex family) and I know if anything had/should happen then they'd be there for me to support me emotionally

as for the loo visits, i too dont mind the many trips to the loo in the early weeks, but i am of course aware that will return in the later weeks of my pregnancy (i'm 21 weeks today...........where did the time go?????)0

Morning gang!
Well DH is due home in the next couple of hours :j :j :j
He's not even been gone a whole week and I've been missing him like crazy!!! Just had my sugarpuffs then when my tummy settles a little I'll emtpy the washing machien again, emtpy the dishwasher, refill both and put them on, then tidy the kitchen a smidge and maybe even hoover the downstairs - check me out! I must be feeling better!
Nausea returned last night when I went to bed so maybe tonight I'll head off to bed a little earlier... Wasn't as bad as it has been though... could this be the end in sight?? :TDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I am still suffering bouts of morning now at 17 weeks but is becoming less frequent so I too am hoping the end is in sight. However I still feel incredibly tired all the time and am in bed by 10 every night!!0

Man im really struggling to keep up with this thread these days. You guys post a lot! I finished work on tues although ive had to do a bit of overtime from home to just finish a few things off. I did wonder what i would do with myself when i finished work but i seem to have been busy ever since. 13 days and counting. Please dont be late child!
Congrats to the person having twins although I must admit im not jealous either. When we went for our first scan about 5 mins into it she said there was just one in there and hubby and me looked at each other and were very pleased as we had totally forgot about the fact that there could be more than one.
Congrats if theres been any new arrivals. I havent read through every page as theres been about 10 of them since I last posted!
