as for the best places to buy muslin/cloth i am looking at ebay/boots... any other suggestions?

I asked this question on the baby clothes thread the other day AF (have resurrected it this afternoon) because I thought the Boots ones looked poor quality.

Recommendations are for Toys R Us (followed by someone who didn't rate TRU), Adams and Asda.

Antenatal classes are not at the hospital sadly :( But I'll check at my scan as that is at the hospital.
I know that they have nappies for people to use (guess most people don't know exactly what size to buy at least till baby arrives and DH can make mad dash to nearest shop for stocks lol) but I didn't see any sleeper suits etc when i was in - in fairness it wasn't top of my list to check for then either lol!

that might be a good idea then MrsTine to check when you next go for a scan. perhaps if they dont allow you to donate goods, you may be able to give a donation to the maternity unit itself?

i know the money i pay for my scan pics (only £2 each which i know is good compared to some Trusts) that the money all goes back into the Unit and not the Trust.

hi ladies can i pick your pregnancy brains????

i am thinking of doing a little fundraising at my work and might expand it but am not sure.

it will be in aid of the Neuroblastoma Society as a work colleague lost his daughter to this disease earlier this year.

I am due the same month as would have been her 9th birthday.

I am thinking like letting colleagues guess the baby's weight? Really not sure what else i could do. I could put together a little hamper for the winner (thinking could pick up things cheap to do this after christmas).

I will of course, without a shadow of a doubt ask my colleague if he is happy with this, and if not, will of course not do it.

either PM me your ideas or post on here.

    thanks

how about a silent auction, last charity one i done we got a football signed from arsenal, a couple of restaurants gave us vouchers for a meal for two, adventure island in southend gave us 4 tickets and some beauty salons gave us some vouchers and other stuff was donated by people we knew, also buy a gift gave us a 25% off vouchers on a couple of bits i bought to auction off

(silent auction is where they write down thier price they would pay for the item and the highest one gets it)
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j

The test from the doctors has confirm we're with child :D

Got initial meeting with the midwife next week. I've had to move my days round at work to go, but I think it's only right I should be there.

Also, Mrs Army had her first (of many I'm sure) bout of morning sickness this morning!?!
