Oooooo you'll be in for lots of fun then!
To help her out either fetch her a piece of toast or leave some biscuits next to her side of the bed to munch before she gets up in the morning, this will help settle it down if you get it first thing.
Eat little and often and drink inbetween eating - don't do both at the same time if avoidable.
She may be lucky and it may be only morning sickness - or it could be morning/noon/night sickness :) no matter how sick she feels she has to keep drinking and eating - I ended up in hospital after vomiting so much I couldn't keep water down - IF that happens for more than 24 hours call the doctors. I was dehydrated and my ketones were through the roof - (the highest level is 4+ on the pee test they do - which is where I was for just under 2 days. I ended up on a drip in hospital so this is very serious!) and I didn't think it was so bad until the doctor took a look at my test and sent me straight to hospital. I thought she'd just give me something for the vomiting...

If her morning sickness is as bad as mine then help her out as much as possible - help with cleaning as the smell can set it off, help do the cooking - again the smell sets me off! and fetch her water and anything she fancies (I'm very into fruit at the moment!) because she'll love you all the more for it! How women without husbands as supportive as mine cope I honestly don't know - although I want to get back to at least cooking as soon as possible as he's not really a jamie oliver in the kitchen - well meant though his efforts definitely are!!! :)

Hi, great armybike. Nice that you are going too, my dh hasn't been to any midwife apps with me, although that's because I told him not to bother as they are boring...well with this being my third we don't really have many questions hehe.

AF - that is a lovely thought. I like mirrors silent auction idea if you could get freebies from anyone that is...

We spend most of our time in bed crying!

Great advice, especially a biscuit in the morning. I found that eating it before I even lifted my head off the pillow helped.

Sorry to disappoint but I've just done it and it was wrong, (assuming the sonographer was right)

I'll do the test when I hear the heatbeat on Thursday!

I'm excited, find out the sex in 8 days.

Thought I'd recommend something. I don't know if any of you are soppy like me, but the book I've enjoyed most recently is Chicken Soup for the Expectant Mother's Soul. Chicken Soup books are collections of heart-warming stories. This book has made me cry so much!
