I'm here I've been reading through the pregnancy thread for most of the day! It's very addictive! Making me even more broody though

I was supposed to go and buy a digital thermometre today so I could start tracking BBT but we didn't get round to going into town. I've definitely missed the boat this month, due on on the 30th and it's the first month off my pill. Dreading my AF though, it's gonna kill me

Hiya, ooh its my first month off the pill too, I had been on it non-stop for years, so it will be interesting to see how quickly AF arrives and how bad it is If AF is on her way, I kinda wish she would hurry up so we can get onto the new cycle and try again!!

Fattybooboo - great name :rotfl: I'm also an MSE regular but want to keep it quiet for a while. This is my first month being off my pill too. So does CD31 mean it's 31 days since your last AF? Sorry still a bit confused by all the lingo! I think when you first come off your pill you can be quite irregular, I wasn't when I came off my pill earlier in the year though, I was as regular as clockwork still but everybody is different I guess. Not sure what to say really I really hope you are, my fingers and toes are crossed for you

got-it-spend-it - I'm doing my OH head in I think, we only decided a few days ago we were going to try so i've been reading up on it all and I keep talking about it :rotfl: I'm just so excited now That's why i'm so glad I found this thread, I can waffle on as much as I want (I can, can't I?)

Hi Iwantababy123, thanks about the name, hehe, it was my husbands idea and I just told him what you said so he is all chuffed now I am new to all the lingo too, I did find a link to a page which explains it all but Ive lost it again now!! I think I am right in saying CD31 is the 31st day of my cycle with day 1 being the first day of my last period. Please can someone correct me if I am wrong. I'm not sure what the longest possible cycle would be really? I keep nipping to the loo just to check if AF has made an appearance!!

Thanks for ur kind wishes. I didnt think I would be this impatient but each day seems to be taking forever to pass!! I am getting slightly obsessed too, I spend a lot of time on here, also looking at this page and the rest of that website which I saw linked on here which I found really interesting.

I'm just the same, I was a bit freaked when he first suggested we try but then I thought ok lets do it, it'll take ages anyway but now i'm so excited and I really want one right NOW :rotfl: Have you read the MSE Pregnancy Club III thread, it's very interesting, I love reading about other peoples pregnancies

Well based on that i'm CD20, I think I am very regular on my pill, almost to the hour and when I came off it earlier in the year I was still very regular. I have a 28 day cycle, might change when the pill is out of my system, i've been on it 8 years!

I think your cycle can just last however long it lasts really, not sure I'm not much help am I?

You are being a big help its nice to talk stuff through with peeps in similar situations. DH tends to glaze over a little when I waffle on about cycle dates etc.

Mine too! He's hopeless :rolleyes: I talk for england at the best of times and when i'm really excited about something there really is no shutting me up

Yeah i've seen that abbrievation list (thanks though ) It's still all really confusing though :rotfl:But this is my first month trying and i've only been coming on here a few days so i'm sure it'll all make sense soon.

Don't forget to add yourself on to the TTC list on that pregnancy thread It is good having somebody to talk about, I don't really want to tell my mum because she'll be judgemental, she knows how soft I am and probably thinks I wont be able to cope with pregnancy/labour but I do feel ready. My best friend is pregnant at the moment though so i'm dying to tell her we're trying but OH wants us to keep it quiet for a little bit.

I couldn't face looking at preg thread(s) since my miscarriage- today would have been 12 weeks
It still feels bad that I have friends who are pg at about the same no. of weeks that I would have been (I am bad person and feel very jealous...) and seems like everyone else I know has got a baby. Sorry for gloom people Did another 10 miu ebay test this morning and could still see a very very faint line (as faint as it gets but still visible to me) which makes me think that there is still some HCG in my system, god how long do I have to wait for it to go away!!!! AAAAAHHHHH I want to ovulate!!!!!!

Didn't sleep very well last night, bloody drunk people standing on our road shouting at top of voice at 3.30 am and 4.30 am (no double glazing so very loud!).

Promise that the rant is over now, will get DH to give me a shoulder rub and hopefully will feel bit better.

Well that is the what the pill does, LOL

I was on microgynon for 9 years and things stayed on the same regularity for at least 6 months after I stopped so I wouldn't think it matters- seeing as you can get pg if you miss pills when you are taking them IYKWIM
