Hi All,
How is everyone doing this month? I have missed the Nov. boat I think, AF is due any day but is 2 days late, I took a test last night but came out negative... do you think it's worth taking another 1 in the morning?
I've got the usual AF symptons, bloatedness, cramps, sore boobs.... so I don't think we hit the jackpot....

Personally I would take another test if AF hasn't shown up in the morning.
I'm 5dpo and my boobs are so sore, which I've never had before at this time of the month. Other than that no symptoms though so who knows.......still coughing away day and night which is not much fun but going to have a lie in tomorrow so hopefully that will help me feel a bit better.
Fingers crossed for some more BFPs for November.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Yes it is Gracie. I have had it happen maybe a handful of times in all my years of having AF. A few things that can make you skip a period are not oving that month, stress, rapid weight gain/loss and starting to do excercise.
Thanks. I've definitely had stress this month, I'm still super-hormonal and the slightest thing can set me off. So the mid-cycle long weekend from my well-meaning but somewhat critical mother-in-law came close to tipping me over the edge a few times.:D0 -
I've been reading through the MSE Pregnancy Club thread today and OMG how broody am I now?? :rotfl: I thought I was broody before but bloomin eck, I am now! You'd think all the talk about sickness, mad cravings, sleepless nights etc would put me off but it's making me worse
I was kind of like, if it happens it happens, if not I wont stress and I'm still determined not to let it take over my life but I am feeling so broody now! I'm far too impatient to wait, once I want something I want it right now!I am definitely going to do the BBT thing so I know when I am ovulating so we can make sure we do lots of BDing around that time and i've told OH we have to BD at least 3 times a week now!! :rotfl: As a man you'd think he would be happy wouldn't you?
How long has everybody on here being trying for?0 -
Hi,
Question for Shelley or any other clearblue fertility monitor users, I've started using the monitor this cycle and know it asks you to test from day 6 every day. I've been charting BBT and it looks like I ov around day 18 or 20, obviously I'll use more than the 10 test sticks this month but will the monitor recognise this and ask me to start testing later in my cycle next month?

Hiya.
I'll give you my info ( I have to fill in a chart everyday for the trial so have photo copied them for my own info each month)
Cycle 1 ~ I was asked to do a test on days 6, 8, 9, 11, then everyday from 14 to 25. I had no peak the first cycle using the monitor but that's not uncommon. In all I used 16 tests.
Cycle 2 ~ Tested everyday from 8 to 17. Had my peak on days 17 & 18. Used only 10 sticks that cycle.
Cycle 3 ~ I am on day 15 of this cycle and tested on days 9, 11, 13, 14 & 15. had my 2 peak days on days 13 & 14. Used 5 tests so far and doubt it will ask me to use anymore as I have peaked already.
As my cycle lengths vary from month to month its very useful to actually know for sure when I am oving. Apparently once you get a peak on the monitor you will ov 24-36 hours later.
HTH:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Thanks Shelley,
That's reassuring, was worried that I would end up having to buy a packet of tests everything month! Mind you hoping won't have to use if for too long. It will be good for me though as more definative proof that I am ov'ing after the past year which should hopefully reassure me. It's a blessed relief not to be temping anymore as well! Realise now even more how tedious it was!

Hi all, I have been lurking on this thread for just over a month, what a great thread!!
Me and my husband decided we would start TTC last month and so I came off the pill last month. Cos of this I am not sure how long my cycle is. I am now on CD31 since my last 'pill period' and as I had been weeing a lot recently and had slightly sore breasts, I went to buy some pregnancy test kits yesterday so I knew one way or the other.
I bought Superdrug twin pack and tried one when I got home from work. I dont think I did it right as it was very slow to 'develop' (?? is that the word?!) but after quite a few mins (I didnt time it, duh, so not sure exactly but had to be at least 7/8 mins I think) it eventually crept up and I was sure it was a BFP, quite a faint one but it was there. DH was not as quick to be convinced (tbh I was not sure either although allowed myself to get a little excited!!) so I drove to Somerfield and bought a digital Clear Blue test. I dont know how I managed to but I waited until this morning to try it and guess what... it was a BFN. And there is no doubting it on the digital ones is thereI then thought hey ho I might as well try the 2nd Superdrug test which I did and held the tip in for a bit longer this time and that was also a BFN.
So we are feeling a little disapointed now. I know its only first month of trying but that first test did get my hopes up a little. Having said that, AF has still not arrived. Seeing as what CD I am on, is pretty unlikely that I am PG do you think?
Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday, roll on X-Factor and Take That!! :j
P.S. I forgot to say, I am usually on mse under a different user name but think my friends know it and didnt want them to find out yet and add extra pressure!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Lisabell- I know what you mean. I keep seeing things in the sale and thinking 'that would be perfect for baby, I should get it at that price...'! Madness as I still need to conceive and carry bubs for nine months. All easier said than done! I think my hubby might be a little fed up of me showing him pushchairs I like!
Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend. I'm working tomorrow so making the most of a saturday night at home x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
