OMG what will I be like when "actively" trying. I'm a bit worried now. Ha ha ha.

Incidently I have stopped feeling sick now...just got really bad trapped wind!!!

    Hello ladies :)

I generally post in the 12 months + group thanks to a pesky prolactinoma (tumour on the pituitary gland) but was wondering if anyone in here had tried the SMEP plan? Had any tips? Views?

Scottishchick - oh no! As I said yesterday, blooming men (but insert stronger wording as appropriate!) and how on earth did he expect you to react to news like that? I don't blame you, be as petty as you want and make him feel guilty, the rotter. Could this be a very important decision in your relationship, as in you will not stay with him as your desire for a child is too strong? Good luck, thinking of you x

Thanks MadMac. I'm not sure what I'll do if he decides for definite that he doesn't want another baby at all. I'm hoping that this is just a blip and he just doesn't like having to perform on cue. Going to leave it a few days before I broach the subject again. X

i didnt realise that u shouldnt actively start TTC until a few months after stopping the pill so never had that rest time... ooopppss!!

You don't have to wait to start TTC after coming off the pill. Docs used to say to wait for a few months purely to work out due dates incase you got pg quickly but these days they can work dates out from scans.

I was on the pill for about 17 years and after stopping it I got pg in my second month of trying. (wasn't meant to be tho)

No tips really but we sort of did this and fell pg the same month we tried it wheres we had been ttc normally for 4 months without any luck but sadly lost the babies at 7/8 weeks. We bd from day 9 every other day until day before i ov so that the sperm was there waiting for the egg to be released. In thereoy this also increases the chance of a girl as boy sperm die quicker.

WEll my side pain has gone for now. I told my dh and he wasn't bothered  men  He actually said i just need to get to the gym and work on my core:confused:Think Af is on her way soon. Iv'e got a really bad cold but i don't really want to take anything other than paracetamol. Ment to be going out tomorrow for a few drinks but feel like i shouldn't drink, It's silly though can't keep living like this just incase.

It's true you don't really have to wait but my doctor advised me to as he wanted us to take folic acid for a straight three months before as my husbands mum was born with a cleft palate and it could be passed on by my husband. It has been a really long wait!

Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place but can I have some advice? My SIL found out she is pregnant, only 1-2 weeks but has told everyone! Is it not normal to wait for your 12 week scan before telling the world? I just thought that is was so easy to miscariage in the first 12 weeks or am I jsut been an old grump?
