  • Hiya

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but just had my sister and 2 nephews here for a couple of days - manic - as they're 7 & 12! DH has kept asking me in sign language whether AF showed yet as don't want the family knowing how seriously we are TTC!

She's still not shown, I'm still feeling weird, and I've still not tested. . . .. DH is getting impatient, (more than me!) and saying if we tested now at least we could start planning next months assault if its negative . . . .LOL

I'm still trying to resist til NYD when a week l8 . . . will keep you informed

Good luck to everyone else still in it for this month

    Hi All,

Hope everyone had a great xmas, have quickly popped in while kids are playing with all the their xmas presents.

Have accepted I have 40 day cycles now so not really starting bding till next week, makes it a really long cycle with no 2ww until at least 15th Jan.

Good luck to everybody waiting to test, and hopefully we're all in for BFP next year.

    Hi guys,

I'm late. I'm never late. Today should have been cd1 - I count from the day I wake up in full flow, or if I'm in full flow before 12 noon.

I just did a cheapie Advanced HCG test from Access Diagnostics but it was negative, but it was one I opened by accident when I meant to pick up an OPK earlier this month, so I don't know if it was valid - the control line did appear though.

I counted and re-counted and unless I was wrong and didn't get a full positive on my OPK on 15th, I am definitely late.

OMG OMG OMG This is driving me nuts!

Ooooooh Annie..looks promising!! Everythings crossed for u.

Ive been out round the shops with OH today..couldn't resist having a look at prams n baby clothes lol..said to him we've probably jinxed ourselves now though. Im so excited, can't wait to be pregnant!! It is 100% the right time to have a baby. Im not due to OV till end of next week though so waiting waiting waiting. Ive bought some ov and pg test sticks off ebay last night so waiting impatiently for them too!! Good luck ladies xx
love my little man he is amazing :j
  • Aargh, what's going on.....AF was much lighter this month and only lasted three days where as it has always been five days for as long as I can remember. Maybe I'm just noticing changes as I am thinking about it all more. Who knows?!

Fingers tightly crossed for all those who are late/ hoping to be late etc. Lots of promising sounding stuff on here at the moment.

I have my fingers crossed annie,
Well another test for me and another fault line. What the hell am i doing wrong? You wouldn't think you could do a pg test so wrong could you lol
I must have a dud batch. I collect the sample in a pot and dip stick in. No more testing for me until new year then if still bfn go to doc for a test.
i am now 5 days late so i think i am pg or is body just playing tricks, feeling a little rough and light headed at the mo.
    baby dust to all.

Are you sure you're dipping the stick for the right amount of time, elastigirl? I made a very pricey mistake with a ClearBlue Digital by not leaving it long enough :(

Thanks :) Same here for you! (and in ref to your other thread, I'd just say I was too sick to go and stay home, put my feet up, and let OH deal with SIL!)

Have you rung the Clearblue helpline? Are you using the clearblue digital? I have the ones with the conception indicator and it says to dip them for 20 seconds, but hold in your stream for 5. If you're peeing in a pot, rather than on a stick, that could be why you're getting the faultline, if it's the same kind of test as mine???

  • it's the normal clearblue first wee of the day, peeing in a pot and holding the wee for 5 or more secs like it says in the instructions then replace cap and lie the test flat. Def going to wait until new years day now anyway as dh wants to be there with me.

Snap . . . . .. I'm still 5 days late and wondering whether its pg or body's mean trick!! DH is the optimist, but I'm reckoning its a trick . . . . Am still gonna wait til NYD at least to test
