  • what an evening! i was at a family do when i started bleeding i was so upset. i was nearly crying when i came out of the loo and everyone could see there was something wrong but i held it together as no one knows we are ttc I have a slight heart murmur that's why i had to go to hospital when i had the recent virus my pluse was sky high dh wanted to take me to hospital but i didn't want to make a fuss, as last time i was only put on oxygen as i am too young to go on tabs and docs say i have to live with it. I have now stopped bleeding but i have a dull ache in tum

So really i want your thoughts on the bleeding it was quite light and pink in colour at first but it i had blood every time i wiped. later on i went to check as i could feel it coming out and it was more brown old blood but i did pass bloodly stringy bits which were quite big.

Isn't it too late for inplantation bleeding? is it Av on her way or something worse?

elastigirl, I think implantation bleed tends to be just one wipes worth, and easy to miss. I quite often get stringy bits if my period is trying to start but hasn't quite got there yet. I think, if I remember rightly, implantation bleed is supposedly more liquidy than thick...

Don't panic unless somthing more unusual happens, it sounds quite normal to me.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o
  • Sorry to hear you're having a rough time Elastigirl.Hope you're ok.

  • I have a little more brown blood now when i wipe  Only a bit but it's there.
I stupidly read lots of stuff on the internet and about bleeding and odds etc and completely upset myself and have been crying for the last half hour. Just being silly and feeling sory for myself really. Just will have to wait and see what happens and try to forget about it for now. What will be will be and there is nothing i can do about it. I don't at least have any tummy pain now.

  • Hi All,

I'd like to join this thread, as OH and I would love for me to get pregnant in 2009. We have a DS who is 1 next week, and would love to have a little brother or sister for him. It took 9 months to fall pregnant last time, but we weren't charting, or even sure when my fertile times were.
We've bought some Clearblue ovulation sticks this time which we're going to have a go with. Has anyone got any experience of them?
I have my fingers crossed for you all x

    Hi annie M

My hubby got the fertility score test from access too for the same reasons as your hubby, they are quite fidily to use but make sure you read the instructions well.I never realised how much off a toll it takes on the OH and they too seem to Worry the same as we do.
Our first test was a bit weak but the second test which you have to do a few days later was normal. But it helped put my OH mind at rest.
    Hope that helps

Elastigirl- Am sorry your not having a good time i would say keep checking see if AF does or doesnt arrive and if its still the same in a few days and your worried maybe speak to your doctor. Please try and relax and not think about it though i know thats easier said than done

Yorkshire chick- Hi and welcome !!! i use ov sticks but not the clearblue ones but i like using them and it helps me try and work out my cycle.

    Hello to all,

Quick question regarding implantation bleeding if someone could please help? My hubby and I are TTC and I am 99% sure I ovulated on Christmas Day, we did the dirty deed 2 days before and on Xmas Day itself. I was pretty sure I was due on around 8/9th Jan but today was surprised to have a bleed. It was liquidy/mucky brown almost like at the end of a period and it was just one wipe's worth(sorry way too much info!) at first I was a bit upset but now am wondering if this might be implantation bleeding, which I didn't get with DD so I have nothing to compare it to.

Does this sounds like implantation bleeding?
    Many thanks
