I'm so stupid . . .
Guess who promised to test today (as now a week late) but forgot to buy a test. Didn't want to one early and tempt fate or be tempted to test early, and then completely forgot the world is shut today . . . doh!

Me again! Now I have a question - what would you do....
Tomorrow is 5 days before AF is due & we have bought a twin pack of First Response tests, so theoretically tomorrow is the first day we can test. Would you use a test even though it is only 62% accurate at this point or hold out till closer to AF or even after AF is late (if she was of course)??
I don't think I can stand the suspense! I don't feel pregnant at all - no sore nipples or huge breasts but maybe this time will be different. The only thing I think I might have (although this is probably all in my head!!!) is that I feel like it is a little uncomfortable to sit on the coach etc, when I was pregnant with my DD I found it uncomfortable to sit upright from the very beginning up until my bump popped at 6 months. It was like there was a tiny hard ball in my stomach. In fact, yes I'm sure it must all be in my head as I'd be too early on for this I'm sure!
I think I'm turning in to a symptom spotter!

I did one of these early pregnancy tests about 5 days before my period was due & it came back negative. On the day my period was due I tested again & showed positive. I would wait as long as you possibly can. (Not easy I know!) But you might feel disappointed if you test early only to find that you could actually be pregnant after all.
Good luck! xOur 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:

Hi everyone, just a quick message and hoping for a bit of advice. I am 7 days into my 2ww. We Bd'd a lot around my Ov time and now I am totally symptom spotting. I feel ridiculously nauseous, I am feeling very moody and keep biting at OH. I have strange twinges in my tummy which I never get and am really really tired to the point of having to have a sleep this afternoon. What do you all think? Obviously I can't test yet but am dying to find out. I probably am not pg but I so hope so. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated as I didn't have any symptoms for about the first six weeks with DD. Oh and nearly forgot my bbs are a little tender and seem bigger although that could just be my mind playing tricks lol. Baby dust to all and cendrickderry I am desperate to know what your test result is.
Good luck and happy 2009 everyone xxMarried the most amazing man 05/12/09 and it was the best day ever, I'm a Mrs, he he!!:jWins 2009: Peroni Alessi bowl woohoo, 1 in 10 wins DVD from Maltesers, Avon lippy!!!Freebies-Bold Gel, CoffeePinecone Research - £9Mystery Shopping - £150 -
Tigerlilley I was like that a week before my period was even late with my DD so I think they could all plausibly (sp?) be symptoms, however, I know when you are TTC it is easy to almost imagine symptoms where normally you would not. For me the tired thing was a huge 'flashing alert' as I went from managing on 6 hours sleep a night to falling asleep for 2 hours when I got home from work & still needing 10 hours at night!
We are at the same place as you I think as my AF is due next Wed (7th) although I don't feel pregnant really so I'm expecting a BFN. You could always get an early test & try that when you are 5 days before AF but as becky_sleaf says they can be misleading! I'm going to try to hold out with testing & not do it tomorrow but my OH keeps begging me to - plus I'm the ost impatient person in the world!!
Lots of luck & baby dust to you.Beautiful DD born Jan 2007

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking on here for a while now (and have posted once or twice too) but I can "officially" join the TTC club now it is January and me and my OH agreed that we would start TTC as from now :j :j :j :j :j
AF is due to pay me a visit on the 8th and I can't wait to get her out of the way so we can get babydancing! There's no chance of me being pg this month as I had that horrible virus that was doing the rounds before Christmas and that coincided with what I think would have been my most fertile time
I hope those people who are waiting to test get the results you want
Baby dust to everyone
