OOo! Program on growing babies on BBC Four now :)

I can't see BBC Four  Stupid rental house and the aerial! (No freeview) Will have to download and watch in on the computer (which probably won't happen, as I usually get 5 min here and then my OH takes over.

I had a really bad smear once, I ended up bleeding heavily like a period. It was quite scary but went to the doctor and she said nothing was wrong, the nurse who did my smear had just been too rough. Never went to that nurse again and have since had normal smears with no bleeding. Just make sure you get a nice nurse and if you feel any pain get her to stop.

That program was all about the battle between baby and mother, quite scary really how everything is has to be a delicate balance for a successful birth. No tips of TTC - but I did miss the start.

Unfortunately it wasn't a smear problem/issue that stopped me going, but I'm ok to go again now.

I did have a smear once where the nurse did something I can only describe using the word 'ramming', and I nearly ended up head first in the corridoor, via the wall.

She then told me I had 'one of those cervixes', and had to be prompted to clarify - she told me mine points 'the other way' (something that hadn't been mentioned at any previous smear).

I just thought 'well it bloody well does now!' :rotfl:

  • I'm so upset I just want to cry. I had a peak reading on my Clearblue monitor yesterday morning so was all ready for some bd'ing last night. I emailed OH at work to let him know. He went to his bed early last night saying "see you Saturday" as he has a works night out tonight. When I went to bed I tried to 'get things going' :o but he said he had a headache  . I went in a huff but went to sleep and woke up early this morning and tried to get things going again.:o Sorry for TMI but I was doing things by hand to speed things up but they sped up to quickly and then it was over. I'm so annoyed with him. He said I should have stopped but how the heck was I supposed to know. He said there is always next month but I'm sure he did it on purpose. He's away to work now and won't be home tonight so won't see him till tomorrow afternoon. I got another peak reading on the monitor but by the time he gets home it'll be too late. Sorry for the rant but I really want to throw something but he's not here for me to throw things at. :p

hi everyone i need your advice as ive been very stupid and now im stressed when i said i wouldnt!

ok basically i did 2 tests this month on the 12th and then about a week later, in the afternoon and the evening, and they were both negative. stupid of me, i realise it was too early to detect HCG or whatever it is, and not only that, i did it when it would of been diluted anyway..

anyway i started getting faint period pains which is what i expect and then was due on yesterday. so far nothing. my boobs have become very sore again

ANYWAY i did a test this morning and there was a faint pos line. now it was faint but def there. compared to the two other tests where theres wasnt a line at all in the slightest, there is a slight one there.

unfortunaly, because id convinced myself im not pregnant i still dont think i am and am thinking the second i say ok i am, im sure aunt flow would be back. if i haddnt of done those 2 tests in the month id be sure i am, although shouldnt the line be strong if im a day later and more to the point, these slight period pains, shouldnt there be none whatso ever??

ive bought another 2 tests before work but i havent dnoe them as im too scared to. scared ni that my hgp-thingy level will be weaker now so it might be a negative...

i dont want to say anything to hubby who is also convinced im not because i told him id done 2 tests and they were neg

    what does anyone think???

Just relax and let things happen!!!!! Lots of women report mild period pains just before they get BFP, so it might be it. Have a cuppa, and a nice chocolate (Twix goes very well with warm tea with milk...).

Then if AF is not here, do another test in the morning.

Easy for me to say - I would be back in the loo going the next 5 tests!!!!! (I had what I thought was a faint line for 2 days in the row, the second one stronger, but then AF came.... It must have been evap line in my case, because it was increadibly faint and only seen by me...)

    Hi djdymond

What tests did you use cos I was using the 10miu internet cheapies and they were coming out with really faint lines on 10,11,12 dpo but I did a tesco and clearblue (I know total poas addict) and both came up with faint but there lines at 10dpo then good lines at 12dpo. If you have used a good brand I wouldn't worry about faint lines anyway cos you probably just implanted a bit late.
