I haven't been on this thread for ages. I did post a few times on the old one, mainly to complain that the OH was avoiding doing the deed at the right time! That was back in January and guess what this month we actually did it! Just the once though. . Not sure if it was the right time but it was day 11 of my cycle. The OH says that he doesn't want to do it to order and as we don't have high sex drives I feel its just never going to happen. I tried to explain that we should do it a fair few times across a certain period to increase our chances but was met with a negative comment. I wonder if he really wants it. Time is pushing on for me.. at nearly 37! Still we'll see what this months action brings!!
I actually have a few test sticks ready and waiting.. funny how the stocks of pregnancy tests on my ward at work were always low! :rotfl:
good luck everyone!
This sounds familiar . . . . . . although for the first time in 6 months of planning (but never doing) DH seems to be actually OK with the BDing to order this week :T

Anyone else using the Clearblue monitor? I had a peak day on Thursday and yesterday, today I had a high reading. Do you think it's still possible for me to get pregnant if I BD tonight? OH had a mishap  yesterday morning and wasn't home last night so we couldn't do it then but are planning to tonight. I've still got EWCM.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Wow it's been quiet on here today, thought I'd have loads to catch up on
Scottishchick - I don't have the clearblue monitor but if the reading is high today, that means you're still ovulating right? So get cracking!
I've noticed some EWCM today, I did an ov test but it was neg, I'll do another one tomorrow and we're going to try and BD for the next few nights. I think I should be ovulating some time over the next few days.

Hi chick.
I'm using the clearblue monitor and in the instructions it says you will ov 24-36 hours after getting your first peak day. It also says in the booklet that an egg can be fertilised for up to 24 hours after ov.
So as I understand it if you peaked on Thurs morning then you could have ov'd fri morn or fri night at the latest (or even later if the hormone surge was only small on thurs morning but enough to register on the monitor) Then if egg is ok for up to 24 hours I'd say yes you still stand a chance of fertilising the egg tonight.
HTH:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
