Just a quick update from my end, we did BD finally last night and I think i just need to back up and relax a bit, I was putting too much pressure on us to get down to it...

although OH did turn over last night and say "there you go...now you're pregnant!", i did try and explain that it's not quite that easy in reality but maybe he knows something i don't!!:rotfl:

If only! :rotfl: How great would it be just to do it once and be pregnant?? Maybe not so great for those people who don't want to get pregnant but great for us!

djdymond - Fingers crossed that the test in the morning is a strong BFP! Must be torture waiting til tomorrow though!

I'm very grumpy today, well calmed down a bit now I guess. Got a new iphone this morning but I can't get the flamin cover off my old phone to get the sim card out :mad: And I also need the latest version of itunes to activate it apparantly and my computer is so old and naff I can't download the latest version :mad::mad:

But I must stop stressing because it's not good for me to get stressed, especially over silly things

I meant to comment yesterday when people were talking about who they'd tell when they're pregnant. I'm definitely telling my mum, dad and best friend (and you guys of course ). If god forbid, something went wrong I would need these people to support me. Also my best friend is pregnant at the moment so it'd be great to chat to her about how i'm feeling, what to expect etc. My OH doesn't want to tell anybody on his side, personally I'd want to tell his mum because I know how pleased she'd be and i'd hate for her to feel left out but it's his choice at the end of the day.

Okay must get dressed (aren't I lazy ) and go and meet OH in town.

Just an FYI, I had AF type cramps (not as strongly though) the whole time I was pg (8 weeks) and also before and after ov! So don't worry about having them djdymond, that and sore boobs and occasional indigestion/heart burn (I assume that is what it was as I had never had it before! so will remember for next time 2ww). Also when I was doing ebay 10 miu ones the lines were never very dark-got a clearblue digital with conception thingy after having some BFPs on the cheaper ones but waites a few days to after AF was due (those things are so expensive, I didn't want to waste it!).

Jennynoo-if you are bleeding and passing clots it sounds like a natural mc, if it is a mc. The scan should show whether there is still a pg there or not and if it has progressed (I think they wanted to do the laproscopy on me as I hadn't had any bleeding at all-although my HCGs were pretty high really in ecptopic terms from what I have found on the net!). Anyway hope it goes well.

djdymond- sounds good for you, my first test when i was having dd was very faint in the afternoon but showed up straight away the next day so id say your pregnant, congratulations x

Also before i found out i was pg with my dd i was doubled over in pain in my kitchen the day af was due, was convinced she would be there but she didnt and now ive got a beautiful little girl

Been having pains today like AF is coming but i aint out till i see her besides she is due anytime from today until 10th so heres hoping

Hello from a mainly lurker.

I have posted a couple of times though.

Just want some advice, i think it might all be in my head but need to talk lol.

I came off the injection 21st October after 5,.5yrs and started the pill straight away. Took it for 21 days and had a light period which started on the 17th November the day before i stopped my pill break, was quite suprised to have a period so soon.

Went back on pill on 18th November and AF lasted until 21st November. I had sex on the 20th and 22nd November (tmi lol) but none since.

The first month on the pill i was fine, very sore boobs but no nausea, for the last 2 weeks i have felt sick (feeling it right now), i am due to take my next pill break on Tuesday but wondering if i should test now? Its probably way too early to tell and i am not sure if i am feeling sick from the pill, just find it strange the first month i was ok. My boobs are still sore and hard but not as painful.

I wasn't planning on TTC til late next year but if i was pregnant i would be happy.

I am sure its in my head, i am sure you can understand how i feel though.

Based on the dates you had sex it would have had to have been a very short cycle for you to have been fertile at that point, could well just be the side effects of the pill.

I would take a test just in case but wait until next week as it would be too early still to get a accurate result.

Thanks. As i have baby thoughts today lol i ordered some pregnancy tests off eBay this morning which last for 18 months anyway so if no period by end of next week i will use one.

I haven't been on this thread for ages. I did post a few times on the old one, mainly to complain that the OH was avoiding doing the deed at the right time! That was back in January and guess what this month we actually did it! Just the once though.:sad: . Not sure if it was the right time but it was day 11 of my cycle. The OH says that he doesn't want to do it to order and as we don't have high sex drives I feel its just never going to happen. I tried to explain that we should do it a fair few times across a certain period to increase our chances but was met with a negative comment. I wonder if he really wants it. Time is pushing on for me.. at nearly 37! Still we'll see what this months action brings!!

I actually have a few test sticks ready and waiting.. funny how the stocks of pregnancy tests on my ward at work were always low! :rotfl:

Hello, just thought I would update. Had another scan today and the empty sac has started to move downwards so the miscarriage is on its way. No risk of ectopic. The doc advised to let it all happen naturally as it has already started but I'm going back in two weeks to check everything has emptied out. Was a bit shocked when the doc told me what to expect in terms of bleeding, she said I would feel pains then should run to the toilet and could be gushing for a few minutes! :eek:

Sorry it wasn't the news we all wanted to hear but at least now you know whats going on and what to expect.

Oh Jennynoo, I'm really sorry to hear the miscarriage is defintiely happening but at least you know what you're dealing with now and can concentrate on the future and trying again once you're ready....
make sure you get looked after this weekend, and treat yourself to a glass of wine or 2 as well, you deserve it after the stress of the last few days...
