Hi all

Still bleeding away :rolleyes: but no pain today - not even AF like aches. It's nice to feel more normal again although I think my breasts are shrinking and going all wibbly which is a big disappointment, having to get the padded bras out again (normally an aa-a cup ).
Had a glass of wine last night :beer: the first for several months as gave up while TTC.

Has anyone else given up caffeine while TTC? I read somewhere that there could be an increased risk of MC with even small amounts of caffeine.

I don't drink coffee and only have a couple of cups of tea a day so i'm not giving it up. I think if I drunk a few cups of coffee a day then it'd be something i'd consider.

I've got a few nights out planned over the next few weeks and I don't really want to drink, just in case...i'm not a big drinker anyway but when you're out with a group of people that do drink it's "expected" isn't it? Plus if I didn't drink they'd start asking why :rolleyes: I may just make my drinks last a long time

I'm not feeling festive at all this year, don't know whats up with me Just can't be bothered, haven't got the decs up and have no plans to put them up anytime soon! OH isn't too bothered either. We've got his mum and her husband coming round for dinner and we really wanted it to be just us because it's our first xmas in our house but you know what MIL's can be like :rolleyes:

Anyway I'll shut up now...going to play on my iphone some more :rotfl:

When i was pg on my dd i had a right bender for three weeks before i found out i was pg (wasnt trying then) had loads of birthdays, engagment and wedding. I was a big vodka drinker and smoked 20 a day so as soon as i found out i was pg i was worried that what i had done for 3 weeks would have harmed my baby but thankfully she is perfect and very intelligent.

I dont know if i was just lucky when pg with my dd but i have not drunk or smoked since i found out i was pg and i dont know if it does really make a difference because they say that the baby doesnt have any of your blood until its about 2 weeks gone i think (dont quote me though) but this time it is taking longer ttc than last time (3months) even though i have given up everything and tring to bd at the right time each month

just realised it dont maker sense what i said

wasnt ttc but knew it only took 3 months cos i had pill injection in april but got pg in july

yes it is def a BFP.. i cant believe im typing that. its not sunk in yet. i thought id be jumping for joy, but im just in shock.. i did those 2 tests so early on in the month and got those two negatives, that i just cant believe it. i thought id be jumping around and crying but im not.

i dont plan on telling immediate family until i see them next which just so happens to be xmas.. maybe thatll be when it sinks in. i dont want to get too worked up though, because if i am to lose it in the next few weeks, id rather be as detached as poss if that makes sense.

jenny i am so sorry your going through what your going through. i dont think i can say anything to make yu feel any better, but we are all here for you

oh, incase it helps anyone, i did cut out caffeine completely a week before ttc which was hard to begin with, not sure if it helped. i had that egg white stuff for two days... we made love the night before it started, and then we did it morning and evening on the second day as it was on a sunday..

afterwards, i stuffed some tissue in and lay there on my back, although not with legs in the air and just stayed there till morning

Congrats djdymond- that is fab news! So pleased to hear of another BFP on here. I don't blame you for being grounded about it though. It's really sensible. I'm sure it will sink in over time.

Just realised that hubby is working lates and nights for all my fertile days this month (this coming week) which is not good as I do days! Never mind, I'm sure we'll manage something.......

Sorry an update, I think i am on CD31?? of a 28 day cycle, i did have spotting yesterday and now have chronic acid heartburn! I am a little confused as i have been like clock work for the last 6-8 months and now think i could be late, over the weekend i thought i was due on sometime this week, but having looked at my diary this morning i am late, only a couple of days, but late!I also don't feel like AF is on her way, no mood swings or aches and pains, just had a couple of spots, but they were tiny. No big boobs or sore boobs, just gas and a little reflux.

I am expecting AF to turn up later today, but at the moment i am tempted to test?
