True the one presenter is better looking than the old ones but not why I watched it.

Pitty they did not change its name too when they "updated" it to consuming lunch as it seems based on consumers now and not business. More of a competitor for watchdog than anything else even down to the moronic man presenting and the eye candy for the men beside him.

For those who have been there from the start did you know the original format started on Ch4 but was dropped before coming to BBC2?
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

IMHO the earlier format didn't deliver very often, full of tech glitches and amateur delivery, although Shaw is also a very affable character. After Childs left the new guy was so out of his comfort zone he was uncomfortable to watch. Paddy was a likeable bumbling nice-but-dim type. However the new format is waaaay worse.
I get the impression some BBC tristham has decided to direct this at a different audience as ratings have dropped away... got a bigger budget... and screwed up.
The best guy in it is, and always was, the one who does the factory visits IMHO.

I to am really disappointed in the changes to the working lunch format, its gone too light weight (dummed down). I used to watch the programme and felt that I learnt about the story behind the headlines, now as someone else posted its more like Watchdog. Its gone from being like the financial pages of thr Daily Telegraph to the Daily Express (no disrespect to the Daily Express).

The old presenters were not the best at presenting but the subject matter and knowledge from them was good and entertaining at the same time. The new presenters fall into the regretable BBC modern trend for putting in presenters with less knowledge but at least they meet their regional accent, ethinic background, sex and social class Political Correctness quota !!

I watch the pre-christmas programme yesterday and in previous years there was a real Christmas spirit and atmosphere, but yesterday was just a dire as since the change or format at the beginning of October.

Please BBC revert to the previous format and inform people about the real stories and knowledge behind financial facts, not just aimed at people who have building society accounts and don't care about other financial issues.

I don't even find Naga all that attractive. A few weeks ago they showed a picture of her when she had proper long hair and she was a stunner, a perfect 10. With her current look I would say 6 at best. Maybe I should email the bbc and demand they keep her way from scissors?
The format is worse all round but the absolute snorefest point is where they invite some one from Industry to have a chat. Booooring!!!!!
